Today, Sony spotlighted several independent games coming to PlayStation platforms as part of the PlayStation Indies initiative led by Shuhei Yoshida. These spotlights were rolled out throughout the day, so we gathered them all up in one place in case you missed any of seven games shown off.

Operation: Tango

A cooperative spy game from Clever Plays Studio, Operation: Tango has you and a friend take on the roles of hacker Alistair and agent Angel, both interacting with the world in different ways. Both characters have different talents, but have to work together to complete missions. The game will come to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in spring, and will support cross-play between the two platforms.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale

From Finji comes Chicory: A Colorful Tale, a puzzle game centered around bringing color to a colorless world. By bringing color back to the environment, it brings it back to life, whether that be in plant life that you can traverse to get around, or putting mechanisms in working order for you to gain access to new areas. Chicory will come to PlayStation 4 and 5 in the spring.

Nour: Play With Your Food

Nour: Play With Your Food has been a known quantity for awhile now, but it’s still something I find hard to quantify in words. It’s an audio/visual/culinary experience in which food makes music and music makes food. The trailer shown off today spotlights how sound (both in the game’s music and in your input through the DualSense microphone) influences everything, and some songs from the Nour’s eclectic soundtrack were also published on the PlayStation Blog. You’ll be able to Play With Your Food on the PlayStation 5 this summer.

Where the Heart Leads

Formerly known as Where the Heart Is (as it was referred to during a previous PlayStation Indies showcase), Where the Heart Leads is an adventure game where memories and imagination determine the shape of the environment. The new trailer shows protagonist Whit Anderson exploring his memories and visions of his future, as well as reveals the game will launch on PS4 (but will of course be playable on PS5) on July 13.

Puzzling Places

Puzzling Places is, as the name implies, about putting places back together. Using a PlayStation VR headset, you will be able to pick through pieces scattered across a virtual space to recreate spaces from across the world, such as the market square in Gliwice, Poland to Tusuruga Castle in Aizuwakamatsu City, Japan. It’s coming to PSVR this winter.

Heavenly Bodies

2pt Interactive’s zero gravity space simulator Heavenly Bodies was also shown at the last PlayStation Indies showcase. This time the team is showcasing a new gameplay trailer showcasing the various, anxiety-inducing crises you and a friend can experience together in the void of space. Heavenly Bodies is coming to PS4, PS5, and Steam later this year.

Disco Elysium – The Final Cut

Closing things out is Disco Elysium, which we’ve known was coming to consoles for awhile. But now we finally have a release date. Disco Elysium – The Final Cut will launch on PS4 and PS5 on March 30. The definitive edition of the RPG will include new content, such as: characters, areas to explore, quests, and full voice acting. I’m excited about this one, as I never got to play the original game when it came to PC and have been patiently waiting for a console port.
