FFXIV Atma Zodiac Relic Weapon Guide: All 12 Atma FATE Locations

Reach the utmost peak with the Atma weapon.

The third phase of the long Zodiac Relic Weapon quest lies ahead. This guide will cover the Atma Zodiac Weapons, the third version of the weapons introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The journey has several phases, each offering a new version of the weapon, ending at the Zeta form. None of these weapons are best-in-slot anymore, so you’re purely doing this for your own satisfaction.

The main guide can be found here: FFXIV Relic Weapon Guide: How to Get All Zodiac Weapons (A Realm Reborn)

How to Unlock Your Atma Relic Weapon

For this phase of your Relic, in comparison to the first and Zenith relic weapons, you’ll be doing a lot of FATEs and hoping for specific items to drop. First, you want to grab the quest “Up in Arms” from Gerolt at Hyrstmill in the North Shroud (X: 30.2, Y: 20.2). He’ll send you to his good buddy Jalzahn nearby at Hyrstmill in North Shroud (X: 29.5, Y: 19.6). Jalzahn wants you to acquire 12 items each named Atma. You’ll get them from FATEs in specific locations; just keep completing FATEs and eventually they’ll drop.

You need to have your Relic Weapon equipped for the FATEs to count and for the Atma to potentially drop. The Atma and their locations are as follows:

  • Atma of the Lion– Outer La Noscea
  • Atma of the Water-bearer– Upper La Noscea
  • Atma of the Ram– Middle La Noscea
  • Atma of the Crab – Western La Noscea
  • Atma of the Fish – Lower La Noscea
  • Atma of the Bull – Eastern Thanalan
  • Atma of the Scales – Central Thanalan
  • Atma of the Twins – Western Thanalan
  • Atma of the Scorpion– Southern Thanalan
  • Atma of the Archer– North Shroud
  • Atma of the Goat– East Shroud
  • Atma of the Maiden– Central Shroud

You can end up with multiples of the same Atma. They’re only used for this quest, so you can save them for a future Relic Weapon grind or dispose of them. Once you have all twelve Atma, take them to Jalzhan and turn them in for your Atma Relic Weapon.
