Next FFXIV Live Letter Will Cover the Next 10 Years and Answer Player Questions on Endwalker

The upcoming Live Letter from the Producer is set for February 18 and Naoki Yoshida plans to talk about the future and answer questions submitted in the FFXIV forums.

Get ready for another FFXIV Live Letter from the Producer. As usual, director and producer Naoki Yoshida will talk about what’s in store for Final Fantasy XIV, but he’ll also reflect on the recently released Endwalker expansion. The upcoming livestream is set for February 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT, and you’ll be able to watch it on the official FFXIV Twitch or YouTube channel. The stream will also include live Japanese-to-English translation.

According to the announcement post on The Lodestone, the stream will include a segment called “Newfound Futures: The Next 10 Years of FFXIV.” Unfortunately, there isn’t much detail beyond that. Perhaps we’ll get updates on upcoming content such as Patch 6.1, the Island Sanctuary feature, or a new Alliance Raid. But given the emphasis on “the next 10 years,” we could get details on where the story might be going, what the FFXIV roadmap looks like amid an ongoing pandemic, or generally what a post-Endwalker world for FFXIV entails.

Yoshida-san will also be doing a player-focused Q&A segment specifically about Endwalker. You can submit your own questions through the designated thread on the official FFXIV forums. As outlined by the forum’s community rep, it’s recommended that you have played Endwalker in some form. If you’re still working your way through the expansion, beware of potential spoilers!
