Riders Republic is the latest sports game from Ubisoft that blends extreme sports with a large open world. You assume the role of a newcomer looking to make their mark in this haven of offroad biking, skiing, snowboarding, and, uh, jetpacks. While you explore this open world, you will see hundreds of other users racing around in colorful, often ridiculous-looking outfits. Most of these cosmetics are purchased with Bucks, which are the main currency in Riders Republic. Gear can be pretty pricy in this game, so here’s every way you can earn some Bucks while playing solo or against real people.

How to Get Bucks

There are a few ways to earn Bucks while playing Riders Republic. The first is by simply completing trick or racecourses that are scattered throughout the world. Finishing one for the first time will earn you 1,000 Bucks, which is the standard amount you’ll get for completing most activities. Another more lucrative method is by hitting specific Star ranks. Along with unlocking new events, activities, and vehicles, earning a certain number of Stars usually comes with a nice amount of Bucks. These seem to range from 2,000 all the way up to 10,000 depending on which Star rank you hit. However, you can only hit a Star rank once, so this isn’t a consistent method if you plan on putting a lot of time into Riders Republic.

The best way is to complete daily Sponsor Contracts, which will always reward you with some Bucks for your trouble. Once you’ve unlocked a sponsor via hitting a specific Star rank head back to Riders Ridge. Go to the food truck and interact with the vendor there. This will bring up a menu where you can equip up to three sponsors, each of which will provide daily contracts for you to finish. Contracts can be as simple as completing a specific number of races or earning a certain number of Stars. Finishing any of these contracts will get you some Bucks and they refresh every 24 hours.

You can also earn bucks by participating and competing in online events like Trick Battles. While this is a nice way to supplement your stream of Bucks, I strongly recommend grinding out contracts first. Finally, you can earn 50 Bucks by popping one of the 500 RR balloons hidden throughout the different regions. Obviously, this shouldn’t be your priority if you’re looking to amass a lot of money. Instead, just focus on finishing your contracts since that will give you the money needed to buy some cool new cosmetics.

How to Get Republic Coins

As for Republic Coins, these are exclusively tied to the Riders Republic store. Acting as the game’s microtransaction currency, coins must be purchased with real money. These coins come in bundles ranging from $5 all the way up to $50. I only recommend purchasing Republic Coins if you have the cash to spend and really want a specific cosmetic in the store. Otherwise, it’s better to just amass some Bucks and spend those since a lot of items can be bought with either.
