If you’re buying Minecraft Dungeons solely for the multiplayer, make sure you have a a few buddies who are picking it up as well.

If you want to be the host of a game, select Online Game and then Start Online Game in the top right. This will load you into your world where you can invite your friends. Now hit the F key (PC) / Select Button (Xbox One) to open up your friends list and invite who you want into the game. Minecraft Dungeons supports 4 player co-op and there are no additional online modes such as PVP. Once someone is in your game, you are free to play through the campaign and collect all the sweet, sweet loot.

  1. just spent way too long trying to solve this problem. Finally realized I had to create an Xbox account and then go in and give my child permissions. Not sure why you have to go through XBox to play on the Switch but it worked!

  2. when i click play online, the game says you can’t start an online game for the restructions. how can i fix that?
