Gauss Abilities: Warframe Guide
We don’t actually know any specific Gauss abilities in Warframe just yet! As of TennoCon 2019, developer Digital Extremes said this new character is still very far off. Even they don’t know much about him except that he’s fast. His idle animation supports that general feel, too, as he hops and stretches like a runner.
What’s interesting is that Warframe already has several characters built for speed. Nezha can literally light their feet on fire to cook past foes. Volt gets a power boost the more that he sprints, and can even speed up allies around him. Nova, while not inherently speedy, can open up portals through space — letting entire teams warp around the world. Gauss will definitely need something special to make him stand out from this particular pack. We’ll just have to wait and see what that might be. Check back later for a complete list of Gauss abilities when the Warframe is out!
How to Unlock Gauss: Warframe Guide
Once again, we don’t actually know how to unlock Gauss just yet. Digital Extremes hasn’t told us! But there are usually only a few possibilities. You might need to complete a side quest, farm for rare materials in an open world, or battle a specific boss. There’s always a chance the devs might surprise us, too!
It’s also safe to say that Gauss won’t be the next Warframe added to the game. Instead we saw footage of Grendel being played on the TennoCon 2019 main stage. According to the developer, Gauss is currently behind Grendel in terms of completion. An as of our last update Digital Extremes said it hadn’t quite figured out the frame’s moveset yet. Barring some surprises, Grendel seems like he should show up playable in Warframe quite soon — at least before Gauss.
