The unnerving Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is amongst us, and with it comes not only jumpscares to scream at, but also collectibles scattered throughout the levels. This guide dives into all the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 notes and their specific locations.
Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Notes – All Locations
Note #1 – Experiment 814
After you grab the key from the opposite side of the first cutout in the game, you’ll be able to enter Elliot Ludwig’s office. Once inside, go ahead and pick the VHS tape from the table. Once you grab it, you can pick up the note that was underneath. The note is then added to your inventory under the name Experiment 814.
Notes #2 and #3 – Test Subject Assessment Forms
After the PJ section where you’re escaping from it and you use the handle to break the window and get inside the office room, don’t fall into the hole just yet. Instead, pick up the notes from the desk to the right.
Note #4 – Transfer Request
Once you’re done with the PJ segment where it chases you, you’ll end up in the Water Treatment area. There, you can find the fourth note next to the “Rotate top 90 degrees” button on the main panel.
Note #5 – Eddie Ritterman to Warrenbach Construction
Once you’re done with the hide-and-seek sequence with Mommy Long Legs and just after you activate the lever, you’re going to fall down a hole into a room that has an Emergency Exit door. The note is to the left of the said door on the ground.
Notes #6 and #7
After you’re done with Mommy Long Legs and you’ve climbed up Bay 6, you’re going to end up in a corridor that culminates inside a control room with the doll inside. The last notes are on both sides of the panel.
That is all for the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 notes in the game! Notes are, by far, the easiest collectible in this chapter. Compared to how tricky some of the statues and VHS tapes are, finding the notes was a breeze.
From all of them, I’d be wary of the ones that are right after the PJ section. It’s not only a really annoying and terrifying section but also, it’s likely that you’re gonna want to escape from there as soon as possible. The problem is that, by doing so, you have the risk of missing those last notes before you drop down into the hole. The upside is that, once you’re broken the glass and happen to be inside the office, the light puzzle doesn’t affect you anymore.
That being said, I didn’t stick around long enough to see whether or not PJ can actually follow you to the office itself. Honestly, I wouldn’t dare to tempt fate, so pick up the notes as soon as possible and give them a read later. Or just watch one of those long YouTube essays, of which there are plenty out there already. Up to you. In the meantime, I’m gonna be watching something completely unrelated on YouTube so I can try and forget about that PJ chase scene.
