It’s December and that means The Game Awards are back. Tonight, Geoff Keighley takes the stage where we’ll undoubtedly see a slew of announcements alongside recognition of the video game industry’s last year of efforts.

We’ll be updating this post with all of the biggest announcements and trailer debuts from the event. Keighley says a total of ten new games will be announced.

The Game Awards start at 5:30 PT and are expected to run about three hours if the show follows previous shows. You can watch the show on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, or Facebook. Your pick.

Devil May Cry 5

A trailer for Devil May Cry 5 has already hit the internet prior to the start of today’s event.

An exclusive demo is coming to Xbox One tomorrow, December 7. The game itself releases on March 8, 2019. Capcom will introduce the series’ Bloody Palace as part of a free update just a month later in April 2019.

Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn picks up 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. The game will set you back $39.99 when it comes out on February 15, 2019.

Here’s the about section from Amazon:

  • Fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world as you take up arms to fight alongside a friend in online co-op.
  • Lead the fight against the highwaymen and their ruthless leaders, the Twins.
  • Build up your home base and recruit specialists to upgrade it as you unlock all-new features.
  • Battle your enemies for resources in Hope County and around the country as you venture to new locations.
  • Upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to receive additional weapons, outfits, and vehicles.

Sayonara Wild Hearts

A new Simogo game is coming to the Nintendo Switch: Sayonara Wild Hearts. It’s a new rhythm game that will land sometime in 2019.

Journey to the Savage Planet

Typhoon Studios revealed it’s first game Journey to the Savage Planet. In it, players will adventure across the world exploring the environments and trying to decide if it’s habitable.

The game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The Stanley Parable

The Stanley Parable is getting an Ultra Deluxe edition for a release on consoles. It’s previously only been available on PC. The game will sport new content, new endings, and more. The game releases in 2019.

Among Trees

Among Trees, coming to Steam Early Access in 2019 is a first-person survival adventure game. We don’t know much about it outside of the usual strategy game features of needing food and shelter.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

Coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch in 2019 is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. The game, developed by Team Ninja, follows the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men and more as they try to stop Thanos and his Black Order.

The game will support online play with up to four players on one system with drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Rocket League McLaren DLC

The officially branded McLaren 570s Car Pack is available now for Rocket League players. It’ll set you back $1.99 McLaren 570S Coupé and two Player Banners.

The McLaren 570S cannot be equipped with any additional Wheels, Toppers and Antennas outside of what comes in the car pack.

Hades

Supergiant Games, the makers of Bastion and Transistor are releasing a new rogue-like game called Hades. It is available in Early Access on the Epic Store!

Ancestors

Ancestors, a third-person open world survival game, which takes you from 10 million to 2 million years ago as you keep your clan alive. The full game will release in 2019.

Scavengers

Midwinter Studio is releasing Scavengers a “survival shooter co-op-atition.” Players will choose from various classes, taking on other teams, and NPCs throughout the game.

Dead by Daylight: Darkness Among Us

Alongside new dedicated servers, Dead by Daylight is getting a new killer called The Legion which looks like it can disguise itself as a survivor.

Anthem

BioWare debuted the first story related trailer for Anthem. You can watch it on the Anthem Twitter account.

Crash Team Racing

Crash Team Racing is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on June 21.

The Outer Worlds

Obsidian Entertainment’s next game is The Outer Worlds. The game made it’s gameplay debut at The Game Awards showing off a vibrant world and the quirky worlds that the studio is known for.

It’s coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

“In The Outer Worlds, you awake from hibernation on a colonist ship that was lost in transit to Halcyon, the furthest colony from Earth located at the edge of the galaxy, only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy it.” The description continues,  “As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.”

The Last Campfire

Hello Games is finally ready for life after No Man’s Sky. The studio revealed its charming new game called The Last Campfire.

PUBG

A new snow map called Vikendi is coming to Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. It’s a medium sized map that’s six by six blocks and is covered in snow. Better be on the lookout for footprints! It’ll be live on the test servers soon.

Oh, and it’s also launching on the PS4 tomorrow.

Atlas

The developers behind ARK: Survival Evolved have announced Atlas. The open world survival MMO will land on Steam on Dec 13. It will be coming to Xbox next year with the Game Preview program.

“Campaign with over 40,000 simultaneous online players, as your influence expands from a small island, to a pirate empire that spans the Globe,” says Studio Wildcard in an announcement. “Wage battle against enemy ships, dive deep into the briny water to explore sunken wrecks and claim your treasure!”

Dragon Age

Solas is back in the next Dragon Age game from BioWare. We didn’t even get the name of the game so we’ll have to wait on that one. They are using the hashtag #TheDreadWolfRises though. You can watch the teaser on Twitter.

The Pathless

The Pathless is coming to PlayStation 4!

Stranger Things 3 The Game
