I played a lot of very cool things at Pax West this year. But none of them have stuck in my brain quite like Small Radios, Big Televisions, a funky, atmospheric puzzle game from Fire Face. In the game, you explore semi-isometric 3D levels, flip switches, and play 80s-era audio tapes that allow you to explore ever-changing environments.
It’s a little weird and very chill, with a story that, as far as I played, just started to tease out.
Look, I know this sort of thing is right up my ally — but hey, I can’t be the only sucker for retro technology and chill puzzles. Small Radios, Big Televisions will be out soon for PS4 and PC.
