Gears Tactics Review Podcast: Old Ideas Emerge Anew

Gears Tactics is an approachable turn-based game that captures a lot of the shooter series' quirks.

Fanbyte Guides Editor Dillon Skiffington has returned to the world of Sera for another ride against the Locust. That’s right! We’re talking about a Gears of War game. Specifically, this is our review of Gears Tactics, the turn-based battle simulator set in the third-person shooter-verse. Set 12 years before the first game, it fills in some of the gaps still left by the main series. And in the process, it makes for a pretty fun tactics game, to boot!
