Fanwidth (A Fanbyte Podcast) Episode 44: The Minions Breeding Pits

Fan fic and fantastic games are the topic of this week's Fanwidth podcast!

Danielle is out sick this week, leaving Niki, merritt, and Steven to their own devices. Things naturally go off the rails almost immediately as merritt explains the timeline of The Young Pope and the upcoming New Pope. Thankfully, Niki finally beat Control, meaning he can talk about some of its great late-game moments! Then Steven brings out mechs, knives, monsters, and bones. Can a Folgers coffee commercial get the crew back on track? No. No, it cannot, and they talk about fan fic instead. Thanks for the knowledge!

You can download this episode directly right here. Otherwise, check out the player below, or head to iTunes and Spotify. While you’re there, consider rating us or leaving a review. It helps. Seriously!

Be sure to check back every Wednesday for another roughly 60 (or even 120) minutes of pure audio goodness. And hey! If you’ve already read this far, why don’t you head on over to iTunes or even Spotify and give Fanwidth a rating and review? It really does help (seriously) and would mean the absolute world to us. And if you like our show, or have suggestions and questions for next episode, reach out to us at podcast@fanbyte.com! Steven reads all your messages and just might mention your query in the future.

Discussed on this episode: Supraland, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Control, Knives Out, The New Pope, Boneworks, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, The Jonas Brothers, Minions, Despicable Me

We’d also like to include a minor content warning this week for (very brief and not at all serious) discussions of implied incest in… a Folgers commercial.

Our intro and outro music is “Sand On Your Face” by Giants’ Nest, acquired through Epidemic Sound.
