Once again, we didn’t do this on purpose, but both our MMA fight and pro wrestling match this week have a sort of similar energy. In both, there’s a wily veteran vs. a scrappy, younger up-and-comer, and in both, we have fun, dynamic matchups that go places.
For our events this episode, it’s Kairi Hojo vs. Meiko Satomura from 2015, and Roxanne “The Happy Warrior” Modafferi vs. Antonina Shevchenko from last year’s UFC St. Petersburg card (the first UFC women’s bout in Russia).
