Terry Crews says localize Mother 3.
LOCALIZE MOTHER 3!
— terry crews (@terrycrews) April 30, 2021
The RPG sequel to Earthbound, or Mother 2 in Japan, has been widely sought in English after its 2006 release on the Gameboy Advance — notably two years after the Nintendo DS had already come out. Since then, fans have clamored for Nintendo to release the game in English and the company’s only acknowledgment of this request has been a mocking comedy skit at E3 2014.
Eventually a fan translation appeared, which itself garnered a huge following, and was actually recently updated on its tenth anniversary
But now Terry Crews says to localize it, so if it’s not a done deal, maybe it should be.
