Garden Story Gets Summer Release Window

Concord's story will come to Switch, PC, and Mac later this year.

Back in the before times where we were going to industry events and could play upcoming games in-person instead of hearing about them in a series of virtual presentations, Garden Story¬†was one of the most interesting games I saw at PAX South. It was on the show floor at the PAX Together booth, an initiative spotlighting diverse games and developers, and I was immediately drawn in by the RPG’s character and social sim elements.

Well, that feels like a lifetime ago, but Garden Story will actually be here pretty soon. Developer Picogram has finally confirmed a release window. Garden Story will be coming to Switch, Mac, and PC this Summer. Check out the announcement trailer below:

Garden Story follows Picord, a grape that must save their island home from a force called the Rot, a corrupting force that is ruining the environment and lives of the island’s citizens. Wrapped up in all of this are some RPG elements, social sim aspects, and, as the title suggests, gardening mechanics. The game is being developed by Picogram, a solo developer.
