Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC Reportedly Leaked by Guidebook

Waves 3 and 4 of the free and paid Fire Emblem DLC include new characters.

We already knew more Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC was on the way. But now, thanks to a leaked guidebook, we might know what the next couple waves entail. This includes new playable Fire Emblem characters, more paralogues, additions to the monastery, and a lot more. It will supposedly be available in waves of free and paid content — much like we’ve already seen.

The report comes from GameFAQs user Ein, who says they snapped a photo of the new Famitsu guidebook to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The guide includes a page with a short description of Wave 3 and Wave 4 DLC. Ein reportedly translated the details, which I’ll include below.

While the page layout looks legitimate, according to Fire Emblem fan site Serene’s Forest, you should still take this with a big ol’ grain of salt. The internet loves to fake stuff. I once forged my mom’s signature to get permission to attend a Scholastic book fair. There I bought a Discovery Channel edutainment game about environmentalism. As an expert on the matter, I can confirm it’s possible to both make fake things and lie to yourself about other things you wish were true. For instance, I told myself that game was good for like two whole years.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC Details & Leak

The third wave of DLC mentions new playable characters: Anna and Jeritza. Anna is a recurring Fire Emblem character who is very often playable, so that wouldn’t be a surprise. Whereas Jeritza is a new side character that appears in various forms throughout Three Houses. Interestingly, the rumored leak mentions Jeritza will only be available “on certain routes.” That checks out given how things play out for that character. If I had to take a guess, I’ll say he’s only available if you play as the Black Eagles. That’s my house, by the way, and things can play out pretty differently if you select them in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Then in Wave 4, we see some names that aren’t as familiar to me: Juris, Balthazar, Constanze, Javi. Past Fire Emblem games love to work in cameo characters, but a quick search doesn’t show these to be names from older games. Although that might be a quirk of this translation.

However, it’s the facilities for Garreg Mach Monastery sound the most interesting to me. Don’t get me wrong: I love fishing. But I can only do it 50 times per in-game week, every week, before I start to develop tunnel vision. It’s gotten so bad that I force myself to fish five times, talk to a Fire Emblem character, go back and fish, rinse, and repeat. Having more things to do between battles sounds like a godsend for my sanity.

We’ll continue to keep you updated about the Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC as we get more information. In the meantime, here’s the complete breakdown from Ein:
