Brie Larson Giving an Award to Laura Bailey For Playing Abby

Brie Larson and Laura Bailey, two women who have suffered ridiculous amounts of harassment from fragile men on the internet, both made an appearance at The Game Awards, with Larson presenting Bailey with an award for her stellar performance in the game as Abby.
Pros:
- God, you fucking love to see it.
- Can you hear the men's cries out in agony?
- And also it was deserved. Bailey was excellent as Abby.
Cons:
- Now we have to hear angry men cry about this, too.
I’m with you on this one. Laura is a fantastic actor who brings projects that she’s in to life. I’ve been a fan of hers for years in Critical Role, and her characters at that table are fantastic to watch. I was also stoked to see Captain Marvel, whose attitude I think Brie made interesting and believable. I liked her solo film, I loved her hair in Endgame (not to mention her slugging it out with Thanos), and I like how salty people get about her lack of concern for men with attitudes.
These women are fantastic. It’s pathetic to see men threatened by them, especially in the case of Laura, who’d just portrayed a character in Abby and thus was threatened, hated, and attacked? For playing the character? She didn’t write Abby, guys. She didn’t choose for Abby to do anything, she just got paid to say Abby’s lines. If anything, you should still hate Abby (if you must), but admire Laura for her skill in acting, to get you this riled up.
Neither women deserve hate. They’re skilled actors. Examine whatever feelings of anger you have for them and realize that the problem is in you.
