Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Datamine Hints at Characters Who Aren't Timmy Turner

But here's three more Spongebob characters.

While the internet is abuzz about Sora from Kingdom Hearts being added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there’s also another crossover brawler out today: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. While the game launched today with its roster of 20 characters, a datamining of the game hints at several characters developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs might be considering, and none of them are Fairly Odd Parents‘ star Timmy Turner, so who gives a fuck? Oh, you give a fuck? Okay, we’ll keep going then.

The datamined leak was originally published on 4chan before it started circulating to places like Reddit and Resetera (thanks Kotaku), and through pouring over the files in the game, fans have been able to reasonably suss out who might be joining Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in the coming months. There’s a placeholder image in the files for Garfield, as well as a reference to a stage based on the cat’s series. Because three characters weren’t enough, Shredder, another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles representative, is referenced through artwork found in the files, and is code-named “cheese.” Because, you know, shredded cheese.

Elsewhere in the files are placeholder announcer lines for Tommy Pickles from Rugrats, and three (3) more characters from Spongebob Squarepants in Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Plankton. As for characters whose shows aren’t yet represented in the game, placeholder lines for Jimmy Neutron and Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life are also present.

In other news:

While this might be a look into what Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl might shape up to be in the future, it’s important to remember that files don’t always point to active plans, merely possibilities and ideas that have been brought up over the course of development.

Be on the lookout for more Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl coverage here at Fanbyte in the coming days. I’m still trying to figure out who I’m imagining while I anxiously wait for Timmy Turner. I played around with Reptar and got the hang of him this morning, but still haven’t decided if that’s who I’m sticking with.
