Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the adorable multiplayer game from developer Mediatonic. A fresh twist on the battle royale genre, up to 60 players compete in a variety of mini-games in an attempt to be the last one standing. Released yesterday, the game’s popularity spread like wildfire as more and more users flocked to this colorful, chaotic title. This even caused the servers to crash multiple times, forcing Mediatonic to disable matchmaking until they could adjust for the sheer volume of users. Currently available on PS4 and PC, many players have been left wondering if Fall Guys will ever come to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Thankfully, the developers haven’t remained silent about the future of this wacky game.
Is Fall Guys Coming to Xbox One or Nintendo Switch?
Quite possible yes, although no plans or dates have been discussed. On the Mediatonic’s website, you can find an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) about the possibility of Fall Guys appearing on Xbox One or Nintendo Switch. “To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We’d love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line. Please let us know on Twitter and Discord which platforms you’d like us to release on next – we’d love to see how much demand there is!” Whether Mediatonic has a deal with Sony is currently unknown at this time, but it’s clear that the developers are interested in bringing this title to other systems.
Of course, bringing over a game to another platform isn’t as simple as throwing a switch. While I have almost no doubt that we will see these adorable jelly beans pop up elsewhere, it probably won’t be at least until early 2021. This could change depending on what the developers prioritize, but we also know that crossplay is a feature they are seeking to implement as well. Additionally, Mediatonic was asked during a Reddit AMA about the game coming to PS5. Their answer was a little bit vague, with the response stating that they don’t have anything to announce, but if they do it will be via their Twitter or Discord.

What Is Fall Guys
For the unaware, Fall Guys is a cute, third-person multiplayer game where you control a colorful jelly bean person. Your task is to battle your way through a variety of mini-games until you are the only person left or the first one to claim the crown. While you can only jump, dive, or grab, this title can be quite difficult to master as every mini-game boasts unique challenges. This can be anything from running through a harrowing obstacle course to trying to steal cute animal tails off fellow beans.
There are no abilities, skills, or items you can acquire, but players can earn in-game currency to purchase cute cosmetics. Don’t be fooled by Fall Guys’ colorful exterior, as it can be insanely challenging as the mini-games are sometimes pretty devious. Currently, live for both PC and PS4, those who use Sony’s console can pick up the game for free via PS Plus. If you own either of these systems, I highly recommend giving Mediatonic’s latest title a try. Just be prepared to curse other beans as they trample over you!
