Hitman 3 is great in that you can access all of the content from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 in it. This is easy if you’re on consoles, the game can just check the rights of your account. But for PC players, where we’ve migrated from Steam to Epic Games Store, you’re going to have to repurchase some things. Thankfully, IO Interactive has put all of the old content on sale for 80 percent off. But which content pack should you purchase? With three available options, it can be a bit confusing.
If you purchase Hitman 3 within the first ten days of launch, you’ll also be given the Hitman 1 GOTY Edition for free. That offer is available until January 30 at 2 PM CET / 8 AM ET.
Update: Epic Games Store and IO Interactive are apparently working with Steam so you don’t need to purchase any access passes at all if you already own them. This will reportedly take weeks, however, so if you want to play that content now, you’ll need to repurchase. We don’t know how importing your progress is affected if you no longer own the older content.

Each Hitman 3 Access Pass Explained
There are four different Hitman 3 access passes, but you really only need to purchase one of them. Either way, let’s run down what each one will get you. Since prices will undoubtedly change, we’ll be using the description from their promo images to make things easier.
This is only the Hitman 2 Expansion Pass content. Meaning it comes with the New York Bank and Haven Island Resort maps alongside Hantu Port and Siberia sniper assassin locations. There are also a few other bonuses like four special assignments and two cosmetic/item packs.
On Epic Games Store the full price is listed as $40, but it’s currently on sale for $9.
This is only the base Hitman 2 content. Meaning it comes with Hawke’s Bay, Miami, Santa Fortuna, Mumbai, Whittleton Creek, and the Isle of Sgail.
On the Epic Games Store the full price is listed as $60, but it’s currently on sale for $12.
This is both the Hitman 2 Expansion Pass and base Hitman 2 content. This is what you want to purchase if you want all content from the last title. It includes everything listed above.
On the Epic Games Store the full price is listed as $100, but it’s currently on sale for $20.
This is the pack we recommend you buy. Although you save no money by purchasing this bundle over each of the above two individually.
This is all of the content from Hitman 1, including the expansion pass. As we mentioned, this is currently free for everyone until January 30. If you’re going to buy Hitman 3 sooner rather than later, we recommend you pick it up now and save yourself some cash. This content alone will run you $30 and it is not on sale like everything from Hitman 2.
Hopefully this all saves you some time trying to figure out what you’re supposed to purchase. The game doesn’t really do you any favors. When you click exactly what content you want in Hitman 3, it just brings you to the list of all Hitman 3 add-ons which leaves room for accidental purchases.
