Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is officially live and it’s time to roll for initiative! Set in the Borderlands equivalent of Dungeons & Dragons, players will join explosive aficionado Tiny Tina and her crew in a game of Bunkers and Badasses. While this title retains the same shooter-looter design of the core entries, it embraces a medieval setting that constantly changes under the whims of your Bunker-Master.
All this really means is you are introducing to goblins, trolls, and other fantasy monsters to your machine gun. Just like previous entries, players equip up to four weapons at once and can freely swap between them . However, you’ll notice right away that both your third and fourth weapon slot is locked. While you can purchase upgrades to your backpack and ammo capacity, earning additional weapon slots will take a bit more time and effort.
How to Unlock Your Third & Fourth Weapon Slots
In order to unlock your other weapon slots, you need to complete specific campaign missions. These quests act as milestones where something major happens or it marks the start of an entirely new area to explore. Without getting into spoilers, to earn your third weapon slot you need to finish the Thy Bard, With a Vengeance quest while the fourth slot is rewarded upon completing another story mission way later in the game. You cannot unlock your additional slots any other way, so if you really want to hold more guns just focus on completing main story quests.
This will take some time though, as the third weapon slot won’t unlock until several hours into the game assuming you’ve been doing some side quests or random encounters. As you start getting more weapons, it’s important that you have at least one shock and corrosive elemental weapon. Being able to efficiently takedown shields or armor help make some of the later encounters (and bosses fights!) much easier. While you can use whatever you want, I recommend trying to cover all bases with your elemental affinities. Unfortunately, you can only hold one melee weapon at a time, so it might be worth keeping a few either in your inventory or bank them for later use.

Additionally, completing Thy Bard, With a Vengeance quest unlocks your second class for your character. Acting as a second skill tree, allows players to begin putting skill points into another class’s talent tree or just use their abilities entirely. For example, I started out with a Graveborn, but I decided to make my second class Spellweaving since they have a lot of synergy. You can use these skills and spells to help fill in the gaps for covering certain elements assuming you find the right magic book.
