PUBG Mobile Season 7 is here, and it’s bringing month’s of rewards through the Season 7 Royale Pass. After waving goodbye to season 6 just a few short days ago, there’s little time for rest. Either fork out some cash for the premium Royale Pass or go the next few months earning some fairly lackluster goodies for your time investment. The choice is, obviously, up to you.
So what’s new in PUBG Mobile Season 7 and what does the new Season 7 Royale Pass have to offer? You’ll find out for yourself the moment you update and log into the game today. But for the sake of simplicity and convenience, you can just read on to get the general gist.
The PUBG Mobile Season 7 Royale Pass features the new Urban Scavenger and Assault Squad outfits. Unlocked after maxing out the Season 7 royale pass, these are the big prizes you’ll be working toward for the next couple of months. You’ll only get to pick one; but who can say no to that cute little cloak?
As always, there are plenty of other guns and goodies for you to unlock on your way to Rank 100. If the outfits didn’t tip you off, the Season 7 Royale Pass is military themed – though you might not think that from the Blue Phantom outfit obtained at Rank 1. At least the included helmet looks like it might withstand a bit of gravel kicked up by a speeding jeep.
It isn’t until around Rank 9 that Elite Royale Pass players will get more notable cosmetics. There’s the Parachute Trial (Yellow) at that point, and the Lime Green Motorcycle skin right after. The Military Chest isn’t big on military skins, either; but the Bunny Dance at Rank 15 is sure to get your drill sergeant demanding you drop and give them 20.
Still waiting on military gear? Make your way to Rank 60 and you’ll finally get your hands on the Trooper set to finish what you started with the Trooper Helmet 10 levels earlier. Finish the look with an exclusive beard at Rank 70 and you’ll become the 90s definition of masculinity. Oorah!
Even with all that goodness, the 1.12.5 patch notes reveal the existence of a new gun. The Skorpion 9mm machine pistol is now available in all maps. And for players in the Middle East, there’s now a dedicated server just for you. Godzilla better pack his bags.
According to the in-game statistics, over 2.7 million players have bought their Season 7 Royale Pass already; and that means bonus rewards if you do the same. Not that a single Royale Pass Mission Card will amount to much, but it’s the thought that counts. As an extra purchase incentive, picking up any amount of UC from now until July will earn you a free outfit and hat. It also knocks the price of the Neon – AWM skin down from 1080 UC to a mere 180.
Tencent teased the PUBG Mobile Season 7 Royale Pass yesterday afternoon, leading many to believe the new season had just gone live. It had not. They soon issued an addendum announcing that Season 7 wouldn’t actually start until the following morning. But hey; at least they got the patch notes out on time!
