PUBG Mobile Season 18 Week 2 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

PUBG Mobile is pro choice.

Believe it or not, Week 2 of the PUBG Mobile Season 18 battle pass is already upon us. For those just getting into the game courtesy of its 3rd Anniversary celebrations, no, you haven’t stumbled upon the secrets of time travel. Anyone who buys access to three seasons automatically gets the EZ Mission License for subsequent seasons, which awards early access to the following week’s mission list.

What that means is more content from the get-go, more opportunities to stack similar missions for bulk completion, and more time at the end of each season to accumulate extra RP from some bonus rewards. We’ve already covered the Season 18 Week 1 mission list in full right here, so now it’s time to move onto the next. It’s a tough one, but there’s plenty of choice as well. Here’s the Week 2 mission list, and the usual tips and tricks to get you through it.

Friend Squad Boost: Win 30 times in Arena

This week’s standard mission sounds like a lot, but it chips away at several others at the same time. Paired with a friend, it should fly by given the length of the average arena match is a fraction of worthwhile shot at Classic. The fact that you need to win, makes the need for a buddy to multiply each victory all that much greater.

Switching between the various Arena modes (TDM, Gun Game, Domination, etc) can help break up the monotony of it, but practice really does make perfect. Playing these quickfire skirmishes should really improve your Classic game going forward, too. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Just play aggressively.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Paradise Resort (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Paradise Resort is virtually one big rooftop. If you need an easy way through the mission, this is the place to aim for.
  2. Land on any rooftop in Picado (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode.
    • Pecado has one big rooftop situated at the north of town. It’s busy, but it’s better than hitting the dirt.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Sosnovka Military Base (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode.
    • Unless you’re looking for a fight as soon as your boots hit the ground, you can do better than choosing this hellscape.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 20 enemies with M762 in Classic mode
    • The M762 is a more readily available version of the SCAR-L. It features a similarly high amount of attachment points and a very high rate of fire. Learn to keep it under control, and the kills should come easy at medium range. Switch it to single fire mode and a 4x scope should net you a couple of long-range kills, too.
  2. Eliminate 200 enemies with the M762 in Arena
    • In arena, you’ll probably want to outfit your M762 with a 2x scope. Stick to full auto and you shouldn’t have much trouble ripping through targets as you storm the map. There’s decent recoil to deal with at this range, but a foregrip goes a long way. Learn its spread patterns and you’ll hip-fire your way to 200 kills in no time.

Pick up 4x Scope in 10 matches in Classic mode

The trusty 4x scope stands as one of the more versatile attachments in the game. Its magnification level is a skirmish sweet spot: capable of tracking mid-range targets easily while doing an admirable job of making far-off enemies easier to hit.

For all its benefits, the 4x scope can be tricky to come across. It’s not particularly rare, but plenty of people seek them out. Later in the match, death boxes can become the best source of these popular pieces of equipment.

Choice Mission

  1. Eliminate 200 enemies with the AUG A3 in Arena.
    • You need to hit level 30 to unlock the ability to slot the AUG A3 into your Arena loadout. After that, you’ll be ripping through enemies no problem. It’s an incredibly powerful gun in Domination. Take it there and you’ll rack up the kills.
  2. Kill 10 enemies with the AUG A3 in Classic mode.
    • Only available through air drops, the AUG A3 stands as the rarest and most powerful assault rifle in the game. The only noticeable drawback of its strengths boils down to its relatively long reload time. Have a quickdraw mag ready for when you loot this thing, and you could take on a team without much worry.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 8 enemies with Mini14 in Classic mode.
    • If you’re aiming at distant targets, the Mini14 is the better DMR around. Its damage won’t match its mid-range cousins, but its lower bullet drop threshold and compatibility with sniper-specific attachments sets it apart from the options below.
  2. Kill 8 enemies with VSS in Classic mode.
    • Though the VSS comes with a suppressor and scope for optimal sniping, its short body means its bullets struggle to hit far off targets. Stick to medium range.
  3. Kill 8 enemies with SKS in Classic mode.
    • The SKS isn’t a particularly rare find. It spawns on every map, so you won’t struggle to find it. It has a shorter range than most DMRs but hits harder as a result. Keep that in mind to score your kills.

Win a Classic match 1 time while wearing a Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv.3)

The Spetsnaz Helmet isn’t going to conceal your location, but the protection it affords can dramatically increase the odds of coming out of a fight alive. They’re guaranteed to spawn in every air drop. Once you nab one, just go about winning a match as you usually would. The knowledge that you can — at full health, at least — survive a sudden headshot might afford the confidence you need to survive the match.

Pick up Ghillie Suit in 6 matches in Classic mode

Pretty much the only chance you have of finding a Ghillie Suit is by looting it from an air drop. These powerful green outfits can make you virtually invisible in the right situation, making them highly desirable. A win can come by much more easily when you’re decked out in a ghillie suit, with some players even looking for similar skins — like the old mirror effect outfit — to get a similar effect going permanently.

It’s possible to find them from high-tier loot locations (or even just about anywhere with a spot of luck) but air drops are more reliable sources to aim for when trying to complete this mission.
