Friend Squad Boost: Kill 9 enemies with headshots in Classic mode

There’s a reason this one takes the Friend Squad Boost slot this week. Headshots aren’t particularly easy to come by. With the stacks of Classic always high, taking the risk of lining up a headshot is rarely worth it — especially given there’s no guarantee it’ll take your target down.

If it wasn’t so late in the season, banking on rifle recoil wouldn’t be bad advice. As you’ll only have a couple of weeks max to tick this off, if you don’t have massive amounts of time your hands, it’s time to grab a sniper and get to work.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 18 enemies with SMGs in Los Leones (Miramar) in Classic mode.
    • So long as you stay clear of the main roads, Los Leones is a great place to depend on your favorite SMG. Stand out in the open, however, and guns with better range will end your run.
  2. Kill 18 enemies with SMGs in Sosnovka Military Base (Erangel) in Classic mode.
    • Unless you’re able to find a 2x scope, assault rifles tend to perform better on the airstrip here. Head toward cover, though, and you’ll force the advantage.
  3. Kill 18 enemies with SMGs in Paradise Resort (Sanhok) in Classic mode.
    • Paradise Resort is the perfect hunting ground. It’s small, offers plenty of cover, and features plenty of loot. SMGs shine here.

Survive for a total of 100 minutes in Classic mode

Of course this doesn’t need to be in one run. Matches don’t last that long. You don’t even need to think about this one: 100 minutes is 100 minutes. Whether you manage it in four matches or 40, the time investment (aside from lobby queues) remains the same. It’s a simple case of playing the game, with the recent RP changes making us wonder why it’s a mission at all.

Pick up Suppressor in 20 matches in Classic mode

Following in the footsteps of a few other attachment missions featured this season, the humble suppressor is the last of the lot. It’s arguably the most important tool you can grab. Each shot without one alerts nearby targets to your position, increasing the odds of someone getting the drop on you. There really is no reason to broadcast your spot on the map whenever you decide to take a shot. Grab a suppressor. They’re common enough. Just set it and forget it.

Kill an enemy from 100 meters away 3 times in Classic mode

100 meters is generally when most guns tend to see their damage numbers drop off. It’s not that they can’t make the distance, but that the bullet will have lost the momentum it needs to deal critical damage. You can absolutely clear the mission by tossing a 4x scope on your favorite assault rifle, but early game snipers will have an easier time with this one. As a handy point of reference, zoom into your position on the map: the smallest grid is 100 meters wide.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 2 enemies with Grenades from 18 meters away in Classic mode.
    • Grenades are the easiest, safest way to deal with a stalemate. If you and your target are hiding behind a rock or fence, a grenade will flush someone out or force them to take the loss. It’s a checkmate machine.
  2. Pick up Crossbow in 10 matches in Classic mode.
    • Crossbows aren’t nearly as rare as some of the game’s more popular weapons. It hard to learn, and even harder to trust. Most leave them on the ground, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding one. Just drop it if you don’t plan on using it.
  3. Destroy 10 vehicle tires in Classic mode.
    • If you’ve had to deal with the Runic Power invisible man lately, shooting tires should be second nature by now. There doesn’t have to be anyone in the vehicle for this to count. If you don’t need a ride, just blow out any vehicle you happen across.

Kill 6 enemies with AWM in any mode

It should come as no surprise as one of the final week’s Elite Pass missions requires a heavy amount of luck. The AWM, probably the strongest sniper rifle in the game right now, can only be found in air drop. Even if you manage to use vehicles or smoke grenades to safely open an air drop, there’s no guarantee you’ll find an AWM inside. If you do, make the most of it. You might not get another chance. Don’t bother aiming for headshots if you have a sketchy track record. The damage potential of this gun means you have a better chance at scoring a kill from a body shot.

Use Adrenaline Syringe 10 times in Classic mode

As is almost the case with the Suppressor mission above, this is another situation where you should complete the objective without much thought. Adrenaline Syringes play an integral part in keeping your character healthy. It boosts your natural health regeneration and increases your running speed, making it great for patching up blows as you storm your target or retreat when one doesn’t go according to plan. They’re not as common as energy drinks and painkillers, but it’s just a matter of perseverance. They’ll turn up.
