Friend Squad Boost: Pick up Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv. 3) in 15 matches in Classic mode

Unless you’re diving straight into high tier loot locations, finding a Spetsnaz helmet out in the wild is difficult. If you’re a novice who prefers a safer landing, the best bet of coming across one of these is by going into a high tier location far from the plane’s route, looting one from another player, or relying on air drops. Each method carries a risk, but if you’re looking to get this cleared through skill rather than dumb luck, it’s a risk you’ll have to take.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in Sahmee (Sanhok) in Classic mode
    • So long as you’re sticking close to the center of Sahmee, assault rifles are potent. Anywhere else and SMGS will start to edge out.
  2. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in Pochinki (Erangel) in Classic mode
    • The topography of Pochinki, as well as the split caused by the river running across, makes assault rifles the weapon of choice the closer to the water you get.
  3. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in San Martin (Miramar) in Classic mode
    • San Martin’s dilapidated buildings and multiple long, connected roads make it an assault rifle user’s dream: A real modern wild west.

Kill six enemies with DBS in Classic mode

By far the most powerful shotgun in the game, the hardest part about getting a kill with the DBS is finding one for yourself. The DBS is typically only found in air drops, making obtaining one a risk in and of itself. Use cars, smoke grenades, and scopes on high places to grab any air drop you can.

Once you’ve found the DBS, hold it tight: A single shot at close range can deal enough damage to slaughter anyone regardless of armor. You’ll be in trouble if you need to reload in the middle of a fight, but with a 12-round holding capacity, nobody should be lasting long enough to see you bottom out.

Pick up Stock in 20 matches in Classic mode

PUBG Mobile just likes the stock! The right stock can reduce the blowback of a powerful weapon’s recoil. With that sort of freedom comes stability and more accurate shots. It could save you a few rounds, or it could save your virtual life. While you don’t need to grab one specific to your weapon for this to count, let it be a lesson to never forget to hunt one down.

Friend Bonus: Pick up Sickle in 10 matches in Classic mode

It’s hard to have the gall to use a melee weapon when guns are so freely available. Luckily, this mission isn’t about learning to use one or venturing out to find a rare one — like the pan.

All you have to do here is find the Sickle. Sharing the stats of the machete and pulling ahead of the crowbar, assume the sickle is the melee weapon is one you’ll come across around 30 percent of the time. Don’t sweat it.

Choice Mission

  1. Invite friends to team up in Power Armor mode and complete seven matches
    • Power Armor mode kicks in during early February, and just like the Runic Power mode, it’s all about using new-found powers. If you needed another reason to try it, here you go.
  2. Complete 10 matches with Friends in Classic mode.
    • If you don’t have a comprehensive friend list already, join an in-game clan or use PUBG Mobile’s official Discord channel to find some in need of completing the same mission.
  3. Complete 10 matches with Friends in Team Arena.
    • If you’re looking to complete this week’s choice mission fast, Arena is where you want to be.

Kill 15 enemies with Vector in Classic mode

Drop into Livik and you’ll have a hard time finding anything other than the Vector. It’s also here where it’ll shine the most, given the PUBG Mobile exclusive map is a fraction of the size of most others. SMGs rule the roost on Livik, and as long as you’re not going up against the FAMAS, you should have the upper hand with this particular weapon.

Carry teammates in a vehicle for a total of 10000 meters in Classic mode

The bi-monthly road trip is here! While you absolutely can let this come naturally, it’s a great way to let off some steam with your squad and maybe bounce around a strategy. Given you need to be the driver to progress this, expect to swap out every 10,000 meters and travel however far it takes for your whole squad to complete the mission. Moving targets are hard to kill, so just keep pushing your foot down.
