Another week, another PUBG Mobile Season 16 mission list. This latest set of challenges omits Livik entirely, so whether you liked last week’s marathon or not, you’re not expected to go back there for an encore. Instead, Week 7 wants a bit of everything. Headshots, painkillers, helmets, and more Flare Guns than you’ve likely seen in the past month are par for the course. Here’s how to complete the lot, as well as some choice words on which missions you should just skip and forget all about.

Season 16 Week 7

PUBG Mobile Season 16 Week 7 Royale Pass Missions

Aid Mission: Use Painkiller 28 times in Classic mode

This is a proper Aid Mission. Painkillers are essential items that, like energy drinks, increase your Boost meter, causing natural health regeneration to kick in. When medkits and bandages can’t fully patch you up, it’s up to the skittles to nurse you back to health.

Twenty-eight is a lot of tic tacs to toss down your gullet, though, so if you’re hoping to finish this one up fast, team up in a squad match and watch your tally increase. They’re common enough in the field, and vending machines on certain maps can dispense them in droves, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding enough to satisfying the Royale Pass mission board.

Pick up Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv. 3) in 10 matches in Classic mode

Spetsnaz Helmets largely show up in air drops, making this one a tricky challenge to complete across 10 matches. The more ground you cover, the higher the chance you’ll have of coming across them in other locations, but the longer you last, the better chance you’ll have of looting one from another player. Those with proper armor tend to have the talent to last longer, so don’t expect to complete this without some level of skill.

Deal a total of 500 damage with headshots in Classic mode

Just because this mission wants headshots, doesn’t mean you have to go practice with your favorite sniper rifle. Headshots aren’t exclusive to weapon or bullet type. They’ll net the most damage when clipping a skull for sure, but an AR with a 4x scope can easier to handle for those already well-versed with their preferred full-auto shooter.

Likewise, the spray from an SMG can land occasional, and largely accidental, headshots in a sudden close-range brawl. If you can confidently achieve this mission with natural aim, good for you. For those who don’t much care for camping in a window, though, know that a little bit of patience with your preferred weapon can still net results.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Hospital (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode

    • Hospital is just south of the ever-popular Georgopol. If a chopper can land there with ease, so can you.
  2. Land on any rooftop in El Pozo (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode

    • Found off in west Miramar, El Pozo is a mid-tier location that sees a decent bit of traffic. There are plenty of rooftops to choose from, and almost as many exits to get you away from the never-ending firefights.
  3. Land on a rooftop in Bootcamp (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode

    • Virtually front and center of Sanhok is Bootcamp, a place with just enough larger rooftops to recommend as an all-purpose choice. Once you land, you can leave by road or river.

Kill 1 enemy within 60 seconds of landing in Classic mode

For the pro-level players out there, this couldn’t be easier. Racing the masses down to Military Base or another high-tier location on a map is the best way to get an easy kill early on.

For the more cautious solo player, following one or two enemies down to a remote area is an alternative option. Watch them land somewhere together and drop yourself off at a nearby hut. That’ll start your 60-second timer. Grab a weapon, then sneak back to their initial landing spot. Chances are they’ve already had a fight. With one dead and the other badly wounded, you’ll have the upper hand.

Pick up Flare Gun in 5 matches in Classic mode

Ok, this one is nuts. Flare Guns aren’t a common sight. Given only a couple show up in each match and can spawn virtually anywhere, finding one, never mind five, is a challenge in and of itself. The best advice for this, aside from scouring high-tier loot locations like your life depends on it (which it will), is to just use a mission skip ticket. Send this one into the sunset. It isn’t worth worrying about.

Friend Bonus: Finish in the Top 3 in a Squad match 2 times in Classic mode

Depending on your playstyle, nabbing a Top 3 finish can be easier or harder in a Squad match than on your own. Here are a few tips that should work regardless of whether you like to run and gun or sneak around:

  1. Stick with your team.
  2. Communicate well (either through voice or preset commands).
  3. Share the equipment you find along the way.

That last one is very important: your teammates can’t back you up if you’re hogging all the ammo. Lastly, don’t start any fights you don’t need to. That’s a sure-fire way to cut your chances of victory. You’re after a Top 3 finish, not a place on the high-score board for kills, so let some other team duke it out.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 8 enemies in a single match in Classic mode

    • Unless you’re a common sight in the Top 5, pulling this off is no easy feat. Landing at high-tier locations and playing offensively is the trick. Holding back and there won’t be enough people left to hunt.
  2. Kill more than 16 players in a single match in Arena

    • While fairly easy to achieve in TDM if you’re an aggressive player, Domination is where most of the kills happen. It’s a more organized match type with enemies typically less likely to split off.
  3. Complete 6 matches in Arcade mode
    • If glorified kill arenas aren’t your thing, hit up the lengthier Arcade modes for a generally more explosive take on your standard Battle Royale game mode. It’ll take you six matches to even know what’s going on, but at least you don’t have to try too hard.

Kill 3 enemies with M24 in any mode

A standard-issue sniper rifle out in the real world, the M24 is an instantly recognizable firearm in PUBG Mobile. Being a bolt-action rifle, it can get you into trouble if your accuracy isn’t on point, but its common spawn rate and ability to accommodate a vast array of attachments helps it sit comfortably as a mid-tier sniper that can certainly get the job done.

When it comes to racking up three kills with the M24, the earlier you find one, the better. If you take it into the end of the match, however, don’t worry too much: a headshot from this shooter will take down anyone without a Lv. 3 helmet at full health from 100 meters out.

Kill 20 enemies with Vector in any mode

The Vector is an oddly-shaped weapon that, upon first inspection, barely fits the typical silhouette of a gun at all. Don’t let its looks deceive you, though.

If you haven’t used it before, you probably should: its bewildering shape stabilizes the usually heavy recoil of the SMG weapon class to create a versatile close-range killing machine. Pull this out when skulking around buildings and you’ll almost certainly come out on top of any confrontation. Just be sure to leave your usual tricks for handling other SMGs at the door. They’ll actually get in your way.
