Season 16 Week 5

PUBG Mobile Season 16 Week 5 Royale Pass Missions

Aid Mission: Kill 36 enemies with Assault Rifles in Erangel in Classic mode

Assault Rifles are by far the most used weapon type in the game. It doesn’t take much to notice that. 36 kills with them is quite a lot to manage for a single mission. After all, anyone except those regularly placing in the Top 5 likely score only 1-2 kills on average per run. How many of those actually manage to get those kills with ARs, though? That’s another story.

If you want to get this cleared quickly, run a few Quad matches. It’s an Aid mission, so any qualifying kills teammates get to toward your own tally, too. Suddenly 36 personal kills could be as little as 0 if you’re more into SMGs yourself.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in School (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode

    • School is an odd shape of a zone. It’s one big rooftop and a series of smaller ones. Set your focus and stick the landing. Go for my old school’s math block, will you? Let me know how Mrs. Brown is doing.
  2. Land on any rooftop in Ha Tinh (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode

    • Ha Tihn respects shapes. Aside from a single structure outside the lines, it’s a perfect rectangle chock full of rooftops big and small. And easy landing spot.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Water Treatment (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode

    • As one of the smallest landmarks viewable on the map, Water Treatment can deceive. Some of the circles are pools, whereas others are tanks. The former clearly won’t count as a rooftop, so pay attention as you make your descent.

Kill 5 enemies with S1897 in any mode

The Winchester shotgun is a truly classic firearm and one that get easily get you a kill in the right situation. Like any shotgun, it’s only really viable at close range, where its spread can be focused on a single point for massive damage. It’s a common gun, so the sooner you find it in a match, the better chance you’ll have of securing a kill before players have a chance to find suitable armor. Just know that the slow rate of fire from its pump-action mechanism makes each shot incredibly important.

Kill 5 enemies with Pistol in any mode

Assuming Arcade modes won’t fly as usual, Arena is probably the best place to clear this one. Pistols are outclassed in Classic mode as quickly as 30 seconds into the match, making them too risky and time consuming to rely on for a mission like this. In Gun Game, however, you’re forced to get a kill with them to win the game, so the playing field evens out a bit. As respawns are a thing in Arena, too, you can try again and again for as long as the match goes on.

Add 6 friends

It’s finally back. The easiest challenge around. While you can (and probably should) only add people you genuinely wish to be friends with, these types of missions normalize random adds. Everyone has the same mission, and everyone wants the RP. Whether you play with those people or immediately delete them after the fact is totally up to you. Use the in-game search feature, add people from your random teams, or scout people out on something like the PUBG Mobile Discord.

Give 20 LIKEs to teammates

One always begets the other. In this case, you can double this and the above mission up. Throw yourself into squad queues and, as the YouTubers say, slam that LIKE button at the end. Upvote your three teammates in each match, add them as friends, and you’ll get both this and the above mission done in no time. Then you can delete them all again like a recluse!

Friend Bonus: Restore 1000 Health in Classic mode

The closer you get to winning a match, the faster you’ll see this mission complete. That’s the natural way, at least. Landing at high-tier locations can get your health knocked down fast and frequently, but you likely won’t have the restoratives on hand to deal with it, making the effort little but wasted time. Grab those medkits, bandages, and pills, and make a habit of only engaging from cover. That way you can quickly patch yourself up when the bullets come flying.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 18 enemies with the P90 in Arena

    • Ah, the returning star of Call of Duty 4. The P90 is an SMG with a crazy high fire rate. Keep the recoil under control and killing 18 enemies with it will be no problem at all. Stick to smaller, closed areas. Hug those walls.
  2. Kill 3 enemies with Win94 in Classic mode

    • As of a couple of updates ago, the Win94 comes equipped with a scope, making it one of the fastest ways to grab a sniper early on. It’s bolt-action, so keep that in mind when picking your target.
  3. Kill 5 enemies with Skorpion in Classic mode
    • Another familiar SMG, the Skorpion is a tiny weapon with a zippy fire rate. Like the P90, it’s all about keeping recoil under control. The closer you can get to your target, the faster you’ll drop them.

Pick up a Ghillie Suit in 5 matches in Classic Mode

The ghillie suit is perhaps the most lucrative piece of equipment in the whole game, second only to the Flare Gun. With four versions designed to offer camouflage around each Classic map (sorry, Livik!) it’s a powerful stealth tool that can make even slowly bolt-action sniper rifles completely viable in the late game. You’ll only get them from Air Drops, and they’re far from guaranteed, so finding five of these silly outfits will take some doing.

Destroy 10 vehicle tires in Classic mode

Most vehicles you come across should have four tires, right? Whether they’re all intact in the cars you come across, however, is a whole other thing. You might think you’d need to blow the tires on vehicles being driven, but that’s not true at all. You don’t need stare vehicular manslaughter in the face to clear this. Just pop the tires of any drivable vehicle you come across on your travels and you should clear this relatively quickly.
