Aid Mission: Win 20 times in Arena

Given this is an Aid mission, clearing with a full squad should count multiple times. 20 Arena matches wouldn’t take more than an hour or two, but anything to speed it up will get Classic fans back into the tense action of the main game. Arena mode turns most players into brutes. Aggression tactics run rampant, but so long as one player holds back to clean up the mess they can leave with smart SMG plays and distant rifle shots, you can come out on top more often than not. Just weigh up which side of the fence you want to be on and know when to reel it back a bit.

Choice Mission

  1. Finish in the Top 20 in Sanhok 5 times in Classic mode

    • A Top 20 finish really does just mean not starting any unnecessary fights. Play it safe. Stay on the edge of the circle, move in when needed, and you should reach the Top 20 without too much risk.
  2. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in Livik in Classic mode

    • Livik is a tiny map when compared to the rest of the Classic roster. There are only 50 players there, too, meaning 4-5 kills per run is probably the best most can expect. ARs with a 3x scope should work well enough here. Treat them like sniper rifles and pick off targets at a distance.
  3. Complete 2 Brothers in Arms matches

    • If you’re up for running with a newbie, this is by far the quickest and easiest way to get some RP. You don’t need to win the matches, and if you’re not much of a teacher, they’ll be over in no time anyway.

Land more than 1500 meters away from the airplane 2 times

This one is easier or harder than it sounds, depending on how you interpret it. Rather than just nose-diving so that the plane is 1500 meters away from you when you land, you need to land 1500 meters away from your launch point. That means gliding for a good long while. Pick a distant spot to aim for before you jump and you won’t be left gliding until you land at some random shack.

Land on any rooftop in San Martin (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode

San Martin is a relatively small town up in the north of the map. You’ve no-doubt been there already: it’s a popular loot location. As for rooftops, however, it’s a mismatch of complete and dilapidated buildings, making rooftops tricky to land on if you don’t pick one out in advance. Aim for the outer edges of town for the best chance at hitting up a complete rooftop.

Open 4 Air Drops in Classic mode

Here’s one from last week rearing its ugly head again. The strategies used to open the bad boys don’t change week after week, so the teachings from Week 1 apply just the same to Week 2. Smoke grenades and a vehicle can help get you in and out fast without much risk, but holding back to pick off less tactically-minded players can help, too. Only so many show up to these things, so after 2-3 kills, you’re probably safe. Just watch your surroundings, too. You don’t want to get flanked.

Pick up 4x Scope in 10 matches in Classic mode

If you’re cracking open air drops in a match, you’re very likely to come across a 4x scope that way. Otherwise, just keep your eyes peeled in high-tier loot locations. If you’re not having much luck picking one up off the ground, loot every death box you come across in the latter half of the game. Chances are the killer already had one and didn’t need another. Get used to doing this, too. 4x scopes are a fan favorite, and if you need them across 10 matches, it’s best to find a system that works for you.

Friend Bonus: Win a Classic match 1 time while wearing a Military Vest Lv. 3

Again, Air Drops are a great source of Military Vest Lv. 3. The same goes for other players. This is a good one to complete with friends not just for the bonus RP, but for the backup they can to secure the win. If they’ve already completed the mission, ask them to toss you their vest before you close in on the final target and you’ll have your clear.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 20 enemies with SMGs in Los Leones (Miramar) in Classic mode

    • Once you’re done landing at San Martin, loot up and mosey on down to Los Leones. Have that 4x AR on hand as you walk through, then switch out to a trusted SMG once you settle in. It’s a big enough place that both weapons will keep you safe, but as this is an SMG mission, you’re going to want to stick to confined spaces and tight corners.
  2. Kill 20 enemies with SMGs in Sosnovka Military Base (Erangel) in Classic mode

    • Sosnovka Military Base is a wide-open battlefield. If you’re using SMGs here, you want to be on the northern side. Hug the structures and don’t keep as many of them surrounding you as you can. Without cover, you’ll easily lose to ARs.
  3. Kill 20 enemies in SMGs in Paradise Resort (Sanhok) in Classic mode
    • This is a true SMG playground. Paradise Resort is one enclosed space with plenty of corners to hug, buildings to hold down, and courtyards with plenty of cover. It’s like going paintballing.

Kill 6 enemies with headshots in Classic mode

Landing headshots on purpose means being acutely aware of gun range/drop off and bullet travel time. The bigger the gun, the less you’ll need to worry about it, generally. Grab your favorite sniper if you’re going hardcore, otherwise, an AR with a 4x scope can serve the less precise player better thanks to increased fire rates. At a push, you can land accidental headshot kills with ARs and LMGs at close range due to their shaky recoil. Just play to your strengths.

Kill 6 enemies with Kar98K in any mode

Conveniently, the Kar98K is one such sniper rifle that can secure easy headshot kills early in the game. Players won’t have much in the way of head protection, the Kar98K is a common find in the field that even comes pre-equipped with a scope. You’ll need to double-tap players later on, but aim once and the chest and once at the head an
