Aid Mission: Use Painkiller 28 times in Classic mode

Painkillers are an invaluable tool that work like the Energy Drinks we’ve all grown to love through the Miramar Vending Machine hunt and the recent Mountain Dew challenge. The health regen they enable can keep your HP ticking up as you make your way to the next spot, saving you precious time. In the early rounds, the ticks can counteract the low damage of the storm, making your escape far less stressful. These things are everywhere all of the time, so stock up and get popping those pills whenever you can. You’ll virtually always reap the benefits. Better yet, play in a group to speed things along.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Hospital (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode

    • Hospital is essentially one big H-shaped rooftop. You’ll find it just below Georgopol on the West side of the map. This is by far the easiest landing opportunity you’ll get, but surviving for long afterward is a whole other story.
  2. Land on any rooftop in El Pozo (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode

    • El Pozo’s small and scattered rooftops can make this one a little tricky. Aim for some of the larger, spread-out buildings for an easier time, but expect opposition.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Bootcamp (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode

    • A bit of a mix of the other two, Bootcamp features a few large rooftops and many smaller ones in a tiny package. The choice is yours here.

Kill 1 enemy within 60 seconds of landing in Classic mode

If you’re landing on a rooftop in a place like Hospital for one of the choice missions up above, you should have a solid attempt at this one. If not, exploit those landing on the rooftops if possible. Dive straight down, grab a gun, and wait for someone to leap from the rooftops. You should be able to pick them off with relative ease.

Otherwise, the same applies elsewhere. If you’re landing in a remote location and see someone hit the ground first, detour to a lone hut or house, grab a gun, and sneak back around to surprise them.

Pick up Flare Gun in 5 matches in Classic mode

There’s no happy little secret for this one. Flare Guns are incredibly hard to come by. They’re used to spawn Super Air Drop, crates that hold some of the best weapons and gear in the game. You’re better off searching for these in high-tier loot locations, but expect opposition and a lot of competition.

Pick up Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv. 3) in 10 matches in Classic mode

While not quite as rare as the Flare Gun, you’d likely kill two birds with one stone by using the former to find the latter. Spetsnaz Helmets are as good as they get, making them relatively hard to find. As the match goes on, your chances of looting one from a target increases. If you’re having trouble finding them in the wild, you’ll have to chance regular Air Drops for the privilege.

Deal a total of 500 damage with headshots in Classic mode

Single headshots from a high-powered weapon can rack up a good 100 damage on average on their own. Nailing five of those doesn’t sound so hard. But when you’re stuck to Classic mode, where the kills come slowly and without much patience for a good shot, clearing this can often come by surprise.

Frantic firing from SMGs and ARs can land accidental headshots on occasion, so while you’d find it more reliable to actually aim for the head, don’t dwell on it too much until the last few days of the season if you’re not a sniping god. At a push, grab your favorite AR, slap on a 4x scope, and get out into the fields.

Friend Bonus: Finish in the Top 3 in a Squad match 2 times in Classic mode

This mission is a bit more difficult than last week’s Friend Bonus one. Although the way to secure it remains relatively the same. Squad matches aren’t about amassing a dozen kills between you all. Just stay together, share the loot, and don’t trigger any battles you really don’t need to fight.

Squad matches are often cut short by one trigger-happy friend opening fire at a target way off in the distance. If they’re not coming for you, leave them be. Someone else with deal with them, saving you vital supplies and automatically pushing you closer to that Top 3 finish. Play smart.

Choice Mission

  1. Complete 6 matches in Arcade mode

    • This is a great excuse to try a little bit of Payload 2.0. It mixes up the Classic formula in some weird and wacky ways. You don’t have to love it, but a break from Classic can do you some good.
  2. Kill 8 enemies in a single match in Classic mode

    • You’ll have to be really aggressive to complete this one. 8 kills in a Classic mode match is what you’ll tend to grab making your way to Top 3, so you’ll need to be on top of your game here.
  3. Kill more than 16 players in a single match in Arena

    • On a similar note, this is about the number of kills a mid-tier player hits toward the of a 50-kill Deathmatch round. If you’re having issue keeping up, Domination might be the way to go.

Kill 3 enemies with M24 in any mode

The M24 has gone through a few changes over the years, but it’s still one of the more commonly used bolt-action snipers out there. You’ll need to procure your own scope for the thing, but once it’s on there, the M24 can make light work of most players.

A shot to the head will take down anyone with maxed out HP and a Lv. 2 helmet. And that’s generally where you’ll want to aim to get the kill given the longer time between shots a bolt-action weapon naturally carries. A body shot on even a naked player won’t take them down, so unless you can afford to fire twice, you’ll want to aim high.

Kill 20 enemies with Vector in any mode

The Vector is a truly special SMG. It’s peculiar shape and built-in stock allows it to naturally combat the high recoil most other guns of its class carry. When you’re within range to make SMGs shine, it’s the recoil from their high rate of fire that can cause problems. The Vector doesn’t have this issue, making it a great tool if you can get in close. Hold it close as you skulk in and around buildings and you should rack up the kills.
