Aid Mission: Kill 16 enemies in a room or on a rooftop in Classic mode

Of course, there are no rooftop landing missions this week. It’s typical. The good news? There’s more than one SMG-related mission this week, and rooms and rooftops are where those really shine. Grab the PP-19 Bizon or MP5K and hit up places like Goroka, School, and Pecado or San Martin. Being an Aid mission, kills by your squad count for you as well, so team up to clear this a little faster.

Choice Mission

  1. Finish in the Top 20 in Miramar 5 times in Classic mode
    • Camp. Just camp. If you need any advice on making it to the Top 20, you need to camp. Don’t start fights. Avoid them.
  2. Complete 8 matches in Infection Mode
    • It’s back for Halloween! While not the best zombie mode out there, it’s a fun pastime from all the Classic you’ll be playing this week. Do it. If you stink at it, check out our Infection Mode guide.
  3. Finish in the Top 20 in Erangel in Classic mode
    • Again, just camp. You can get into the Top 5 so easily by just picking your battles. Top 20 is nothing if you’re aware of your surroundings.

Use the Clap or Greet emote in School (Erangel) in Classic mode

You didn’t think we could go a whole season without this one, did you? It’s a timeless classic. Both the Clap and Greet emote are unlocked by default, so whip them back onto your emote menu and get to work. The location of this challenge works well for an Elite Royale Pass Choice Mission down below, so double up if you can.

Kill 4 enemies with Frag Grenade in any mode

Frag grenade kills come from forcing the other player’s hand. Toss it through a window and they have to make a snap decision – hide in a corner and hope for the best, or get out of the building and open themselves up to the wider world. Most of the time, they’ll stand and fight the pineapple.

Go in guns blazing at the same time to really shake them up and increase the odds of the grenade doing the deed. Likewise, toss it behind cover for the same effect.

Kill 20 enemies with the PP-19 Bizon or the MP5K SMG in Classic mode

SMGs shine in medium to close-range combat. Take them where they work best and you should have no problem amassing kills with these things. Those moments where you’re in a house and you dive outside to sneak on someone coming in? SMGs work great there. If you meet around the corner of the house, your SMG will beat out their AR every time.

Kill 30 enemies with the AKM in Arena

The AKM is the AK47 of PUBG Mobile; common, powerful, and hard to manage. All that kick comes back as recoil, making the AKM hard to use in twitchy fights where you’re just spraying and praying. But in Arena matches, where you’re often forced into mid- and close-range combat, the recoil of the AKM is somewhat counter-balanced.

A closer target means a larger target, reducing the risk of recoil sending you off the mark. It’s the same reason why SMGs work so well with close-range targets. If they’re distant, opt for selective fire. If they’re close, run them down.

Friend Bonus: Earn S or above 4 times while in a team with friends in Classic mode

This is nothing but a battle for survival. You don’t need to amass a dozen kills between you all. Just stay together, share the loot, and don’t trigger any fights you don’t need to. Too many Squad matches are cut short by one trigger-happy friend opening fire on a team way off in the distance. If they’re not running right at you, leave them be. Let someone else deal with them. You’ll score better by surviving longer, and every fight reduces your chances of doing that.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 16 enemies with Assault Rifles in Vikendi in Classic mode
    • They’re assault rifles. They work virtually anywhere. Just don’t get pushed into extremely close quarters. Try to stay outdoors.
  2. Kill 8 enemies with Bolt Action Rifles in Miramar in Classic mode
    • With plenty of hills and mountains, Miramar is both great and terrible for sniper users. Perch yourself behind a rock up a mountain and aim down at a town or outpost.
  3. Kill 15 enemies with SMGs in Erangel in Classic mode
    • Go to School to double this up with the Wave/Greet mission. SMGs really shine there. Schools are notorious for being little more than a series of corridors anyway.

Kill 4 enemies with AWM in any mode

The AWM is the rarest and most powerful weapon in the game. It’s a killer sniper rifle found only in Air Drops – either randomly spawned, or called with a Flare Gun. If you’re lucky enough to find one of these, getting at least one kill shouldn’t be too hard.

The AWM can one-tap regardless of armor so long as you aim for the head. And with the longest range of any gun in the game, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about aiming far ahead and above a long-distance target. Just point a shoot.

Pick up Backpack (Lv. 3) in 10 matches in Classic mode

The dreaded Backpack (Lv. 3). Nobody likes it. It’s doesn’t offer enough extra space for the profile it adds to your prone position. Luckily, that means they shouldn’t be too difficult to find. They’re still rare, but as the airdrops arrive or you’re pushed into larger settlements, you should come across one without too much difficultly. Unlike other Lv. 3 equipment, don’t expect to pull this off a dead target. If they had one, they probably put it back where they found it.
