PUBG Mobile Season 14 Week 7 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

One step closer to the edge.

It’s the penultimate week of the PUBG Mobile Season 14 mission list. Week 7 has arrived, and it features something we haven’t really seen before. Building on from the location-specific missions we’re all used to, Week 7 wants us to down players in specific types of places.

On top of landing on rooftops, gaining kills up there will count toward a new mission! If you don’t like certain places, though, picking targets off in rooms will work too. Here’s the full Week 7 mission list and some choice tips to see you through it.

Aid Mission: Kill 16 enemies in a room or on a rooftop in Classic mode

This is the battle between the assault rifle and the SMG enthusiasts. Rooms are absolutely prime SMG spaces, whereas rooftops (assuming they’re big ones) are flat, far-reaching spaces meant for assault rifles.

Whether only one player needs to be in the right place for this isn’t clear, so a bit of trial and error might be needed yet. Just stick to using the right weapon for the range, though, and you should get through it passively before long.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Hospital (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode
    • As you can probably imagine, Hospital is mostly one big rooftop. It’s a great place to get kills for the above mission with assault rifles.
  2. Land on any rooftop in El Pozo (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode
    • El Pozo’s rooftops are scattered in both distance and size. You won’t get caught in a crossfire here, but if you luck into a rifle, you might be able to nab a kill for the mission above pretty easily.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Bootcamp (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode
    • You have a lower chance of slipping through the cracks than any other option with this one.If you’re confident, you can land here for rooftop kills, then drop below for room ones.

Use the Clap or Greet emote in School (Erangel) in Classic mode

The classic emote task. We haven’t had a season-exclusive emote in a while, so it’s interesting to see this general emote mission come back again.

The main thing to remember here is that this isn’t some pay to win mission. The Clap and Greet emotes are available by default. You already have them. You don’t need to buy them clear this one.

Kill 4 enemies with Frag Grenade in any mode

The frag grenade is best used to flush snipers out of nests. If you hear a crack shot nearby, sneak around to the building and toss a pineapple through their peephole. They’ll either not notice the ‘nade and die from it, or leap out into the open completely unprepared to face your main weapon. The second won’t net you a mark on this mission, but a kill is a kill.

Kill 20 enemies with the PP-19 Bizon or the MP5K SMG in Classic mode

Here’s another that should go down a treat with the first mission of the week. Despite being an Aid mission, it’s easily soloable for those who don’t like to squad up. These two SMGs are some of most popular choices, so taking these around a town and sticking to indoor skirmishes should make clearing this and the room/roof mission a breeze.

Kill 30 enemies with the AKM in Arena

The AKM is the AK-47 of PUBG Mobile. It packs a ton of recoil, but gains immense stopping power in its place. It’s a tough gun to control in hectic environments, but those able to manage its handling can, and will, get the kill.

Like most SMGs, its heavy recoil means it’s primed toward close-quarters combat — something Arena matches do not lack. This shouldn’t take long to finish. Just don’t go into Gun Game.

Earn S or above 4 times while in a team with friends in Classic mode

This is basically another way of saying to land a Top 10 or Top 20 finish in a team. With friends, of course. If you follow the common considerations for a successful group like sticking together, sharing loot, and communicating as best you can, you’ll pick up enough stuff and survive long enough to get at least an S rank.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 8 enemies in a single match in Classic mode
    • This isn’t something the average player accomplishes in a single match. It’s stress most of us don’t need.
  2. Kill more than 16 players in a single match in Arena
    • This is fairly tough, too. Easier than in Classic mode for sure, but not something we’re all capable of.
  3. Complete 6 matches in Arcade mode
    • If you’re not good enough to clear either of the other two missions, this is a kind final option. The new Gun Game mode is a riot.

Kill 4 enemies with AWM in any mode

There’s a reason the kill count on this one is low. It’s not that the weapon is weak. Far from it. It’s more to do with that fact it only comes from air drops.

The coveted AWM bolt-action rifle will blow straight through a top level helmet, making it an instant kill headshot machine no matter what’s covering someone’s cranium. It won’t be hard to get the kills with this, but nabbing one from an air drop will take some doing.

Pick up Backpack (Lv. 3) in 10 matches in Classic mode

Missions like these are typically used to encourage more players to pick up items they should usually carry on their person. In the case of the Lv. 3 Backpack, however, that’s not necessarily the case.

It’s not too uncommon to find one of these out in the open, but players rarely pick them up. They have more storage slots, sure, but the physical bulge makes going prone in grass far less covert.

For that reason one, people rarely pick them up, which should make it easier to clear this yourself. You can also drop the backpack once you pick it up.
