This week’s missions take place almost exclusively on Sanhok. And if you’re not up for playing anything outside of Classic, get ready to grab a pan. It’s a rough ride for stubborn one trick ponies, but a decently fun one for those who swear by the notion of variety being the spice of life. Aid Mission: Kill 28 enemies with SMGs in Sanhok in Classic mode

Sanhok is a perfect spot for some SMG action — so long as you back away from Quarry. Pai Nan, Bootcamp, Kampong; basically any other settlement on the map is small enough to let the close-range benefits of SMGs really shine through. ARs are going to come out in full force on the various bridges acting as chokes between each island, but stick to your guns (literally) and you should find this a fairly easy mission to complete.

As is the case with all aid missions, braving squad matches should get this cleared faster.

Choice Mission

  1. Solve 6 puzzles during the Ancient Secret
    • This doesn’t need to be all in one run. It couldn’t. It’s just asking you to play the Ancient Secret, really. The objective, too. Nothing unusual here.
  2. Kill 6 enemies with Shotguns in Livik in Classic mode
    • Livik is a tiny, tiny map designed with around half the usual players in mind. It still has its open areas, though, so don’t think it’s all close-range weaponry here. Find a nice town or individual building to hole up in, crouch down, and keep that shotgun close.
  3. Kill 3 enemies with Pan in Classic mode
    • This is the hard mode mission anyone who isn’t willing to play a less conventional map or mode will need to choose. Reject change, you get the slog. Good luck.

Kill 2 enemies with Grenades from 18 meters away in Classic mode

Lobbing pineapples into a sniper’s nest is usually a good way to get grenade kills, but only the late Kobe Bryant could land that kind of shot from 18 meters away.

In PUBG Mobile, grenade kills aren’t as easy as just tossing one forward and landing it in the opponent’s spawn. It’s a wide-open battlefield, for one. There are no spawns. Here, it’s best to save them for when you’re pinned behind a rock or tree as a way to create an opening. Likewise, many chicken dinners have been won by landing a grenade beside a camping target — also likely behind a tree or rock.

Pick up Crossbow in 5 matches in Classic mode

Crossbows are incredibly powerful, but their long reload times and tricky handling often sees players forego them in favor of something with a bit more spray potential. The key thing to look out for in this mission is that you don’t actually have to kill a target with a crossbow. You only need to pick one up. Whether you use it or dump it after that is up to you. It’s the kind of mission that’s out to encourage obscure playstyles. But if you’re not comfortable with risking a dinner for a gun you don’t trust, just toss it out as soon as you pick it up. No harm, no foul.

Pick up Extended Quickdraw Mag (AR) in 16 matches in Classic mode

There’s no real secret to finding something like an Extended Quickdraw Mag for an assault rifle. It’s miscellaneous gear found more or less anywhere. With 16 matches needed to clear this mission, you should expect to see one in every match; provided you don’t just drop into one spot and refuse to move for the rest of the game.

Like the crossbow mission, it’s just here to encourage you to pick up something you might otherwise forget. Unlike the crossbow, though, the extended QuickDraw mag is an essential piece of kit. ARs are powerful; why wouldn’t you want to whip them out faster and spray longer?

Reach Platinum or above in Classic mode

Reaching Platinum in PUBG Mobile honestly isn’t as tough as it sounds — the ranks go far high, and we all know positive reinforcement keeps players coming back. If you’ve been here for a while and still can’t make it, though, you might want to think about carefully scrutinizing the habits of our favorite pro players, streamers, and online personalities.

They put the hours into this game for their job; and it shows. What that amounts to is hundreds of hours of research material you can use to scout out the errors of your ways. One of the first things I learned was just how much pros of any sport study their own performances to understand where improvement is needed. Think about it.

PUBG Mobile Season 14 Week 4 Elite Royale Pass Missions

Kill an enemy from 100 meters away 3 times in Classic mode

This is your typical AR or sniper mission. You can pick off a target in one or two shots with the right sniper as they trek across a field, but ARs take a little more time to deal the damage. 100m, if you don’t know, is about half of most of the smaller settlements in PUBG Mobile.

Bootcamp on Sanhok is a good example. Look at that distance on something like PUBGMap.io and you’ll realize just how essential a decent scope is to making the shot. With an AR, that means the glorious 4x scope. You can go without it, but the aim and handling benefits from the right scope really start to stand out at these kinds of distances.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 16 enemies with Assault Rifles in Sanhok in Classic mode
    • Oh, would you look at that? A Sanhok AR mission. Bootcamp is still an SMG haven, but stay around the Quarry area and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to pick targets off as they make their way to other areas.
  2. Kill 7 enemies with Bolt Action Rifles in Vikendi in Classic mode
    • As a mostly mountainous region, Vikendi can be a great place for avid snipers. With the right skin for its snow-covered terrain, you can get down low in and around Castle or Mount Kreznic and see a good portion of the map’s popular spots.
  3. Kill 14 enemies with SMGs in Miramar in Classic mode
    • SMGs in Miramar aren’t a great time. Its towns and settlements are small, but relatively open. So long as you can get inside a building before being picked off, you’ll bring the SMG fight to yourself. Just stay out of the open.

Kill a total of 25 enemies in Arena

A decent player should be able to clear this in 3-4 matches tops. Two if you’re a PC player abusing the game’s official emulator support. With Arena, you have a choice of objective-based combat like Domination, or general deathmatch gameplay in Assault and TDM. Whichever you choose, you have unlimited respawns to take advantage of, so play as aggressively as you need to rack up the kills. If anything, Arena is a good way to practice your skirmishes.

Use bandages 30 times in Classic mode

You don’t have to do this all in one go. Nobody is suggesting you lunge yourself off a few cliffs and patch yourself up with a hospital’s whole stash of gauze. This mission, like so many others, is just here to ensure you’re getting the most out of your HP bar as possible. Healing up between (and during) skirmishes can, and will, make a huge difference to your odds of netting that chicken dinner.

Keep a stash on you. And when you know your opponent won’t risk charging around the corner to finish you off, patch up. Who knows; you might just tip the odds back in your favor. Better yet, it’ll teach you to know when someone else is doing the same. That’s a great opportunity to launch a grenade over there and, if they move, finish them off.
