PUBG Mobile Season 14 Week 3 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

Monster road trip!

A fresh new set of PUBG Mobile missions reared their ugly heads today, and the mission list doesn’t include many you can do in tandem with those included in previous weeks. What it does include, however, is the necessity to grow more comfortable in scoring kills with the game’s least-used weapon types, and the art of prolonging your run by abusing painkillers, caffeine, and medical gauze.

Both pistols and shotguns are on the agenda this week, but with a nice, big Assault Rifle aid mission to clear at the very beginning, there’s a healthy variety to keep things interesting. There’s a bunch of reasons to try more obscure modes and ride around in a monster truck, too. Here’s your PUBG Mobile Season 14 week 3 challenge guide.

Aid Mission: Kill 36 enemies with Assault Rifles in Erangel in Classic mode

Back to Erangel already. So long, Livik. Assault rifles make the most sense on Erangel. It’s large, wide-open playfield suits the medium/long-range playstyle perfectly.

To speed up your assault rifle kills, it helps to understand how they handle. If you don’t already have a preference, get yourself over to the firing range and test them out; see what suits your control scheme etc. Once that’s out of the way, be sure to grab a 4x scope whenever you can. These can fit on most ARs and offer the best optics for the situations ARs typically shine in. Learn to pick your shots, too. If you’re firing at a long-range target, switch into single-fire mode to control accuracy and recoil.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Paradise Resort (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Paradise Resort is virtually one big rooftop. It’s easy to land on, but its flat stature means less chance to avoid clashing with anyone else who dives down there.
  2. Land on any rooftop in Pecado (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Small and sparsely populated by houses, Pecado isn’t a great landing spot for loot, but it does have a good mixture of large rooftops and housing strips to aim for.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Sosnovka Military Base (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode
    • This is where the pros go to loot up and get into the action fast. With so few rooftops spread about, it’s far from the easiest landing mission on the list.

Kill 5 enemies with Pistol in any mode

Pistols see the most use at the beginning of a match; when there’s a good chance it’s the only weapon most players have found yet. This happens a lot when landing by random farmhouses out in the field. So to clear this one fast, drop in on a small settlement and just go ham with whatever pistol you first find. Chances are, the enemy players around you won’t have much more to protect themselves with.

Unless you find a deagle partway through a match. Just toss a decent sight on that and pick off some medium and long-range targets if you can. You’ll feel like a king doing it.

Kill 5 enemies with S1897 in any mode

This falls under the same pretense as above. Shotguns, especially pump-action ones, are common sights early in the match. They’re easy to find and very powerful. They’re utterly useless in the open fields of most maps, but switch to one in a close-range setting like in or around a house and you’ll have a quick and easy advantage — if your aim is up to snuff, anyway.

Add 6 friends

Well this one is easy enough. You don’t have to introduce yourself and play ten rounds before someone will accept a friend request in this game. Just add any old fool you randomly squad up with and chances are they’ll pop up on your friend list after their next round or two. Free currency gifts whet anyone’s appetite, so it’s not usual for players to pad out their lists — especially when missions like this exist.

If you want actual friends, the best thing you can do is hit up a community like Discord. It’s far easier to chat in a dedicated app than it is through PUBG Mobile.

Give 20 LIKEs to teammates

Like the shotgun mission to the pistol one, this falls under a very similar guise to the mission above. When squaring up with randoms to befriend at the end of a match, hitting that LIKE button on each player will get this mission over with fast. The system is designed to promote and recognize teamwork, but when there’s RP to play for, all reason goes out the window. You’re not alone.

Restore 1000 Health in Classic mode

Mirroring the damage dealing mission in this spot last week, this new offering wants more or less the opposite. You don’t have to heal 1000 health in a single match. That would just be absurd and require a maddening amount of supplies. Instead, it’s best to view this mission as an incentive to learn proper survival skills.

Grab all the painkillers, bandages, energy drinks, and medkits you come across. Patch up after (and during) every fight. Fall off a cliff? Patch up before pressing on. Every sliver of HP matters in this game, and this mission wants you to realize exactly that.

Choice Mission

  1. Travel for a total of 4000 meters while driving a Monster Truck in Classic mode
    • 4000 instead of the usual 10/20k is down to the Monster Truck being exclusive to the teeny, tiny Livik. Monster road trip? Monster road trip.
  2. Enter the Ancient Temple in 5 matches during the Ancient Secret
    • The ancient temple is the largest pyramid structure on the map. You’ll see it.
  3. Bring back 2 dead teammates in Payload
    • Dead teammates can be brought back by visiting a pylon in Payload mode. We have a fairly in-depth guide on it all here.

Pick up a Ghillie Suit in 5 matches in Classic mode

The ghillie suit is a very rare wearable outfit that has likely resulted in your death more times than you think. Finding one is a matter of luck, bravery, and more luck, though. The PUBG Mobile ghillie suit is exclusive to air drops. Red drops are more likely to contain them, but yellows work too.

You can grab yellow airdrops by following the random trails from the sky and tossing enough smokes to get in you close without being sniped, whereas reds can only be called in with flare guns found randomly around the map.

Destroy 10 vehicle tires in Classic mode

Unless someone is gunning for the vehicular kill challenge from a previous week, having vehicles get close enough to blow their tires out is fairly uncommon. People use them as transport more often than not, so if you’re far ahead of the circle, camping out in the potential final spot will lead to vehicles coming to you as people drive away from their impending doom.

At that point, it’s up to you whether you shoot out the tires while they’re driving and instigate a fight, or wait until they’ve reached the destination and scurried away before you go in for four risk-free points toward this mission. You can always blow the wheels of your own car or unneeded ones you find on your travels, too. There’s no need to over-complicate things.
