PUBG Mobile Season 13 Week 8 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

It's all Battle Royale all the time.

For the final week of PUBG Mobile and its much-maligned Season 13, Classic is about the only thing on the menu. There’s no mention of Jungle Adventure and barely even a peep from Arena. It’s exclusively Battle Royale if you want it to be, and a tiny sliver of Deathmatch if you want a break. Here are some essential tips and tricks to get you through Season 13 Week 8.

Aid Mission: Use Painkiller 28 times in Classic mode

Throw yourself into a quads match (Sorry. Squad.) and you’ll get this done in no time. Ally actions count towards Aid missions, and given most players usually have painkillers pouring out of their pockets throughout every match, chugging 28 between you won’t take long if you’re surviving your skirmishes.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in El Pozo (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode
    • El Pozo’s rooftops are scattered. There are bigs ones to the south and many more smaller ones to the north. Pick your poison.
  2. Land on any rooftop in Bootcamp (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Bootcamp features one large rooftop dead center. You can’t miss it. Its loot grade makes its a high value hotdrop location, though. Watch out.
  3. Land on any rooftop in Hospital (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Hospital is a tiny little spot below Georgopol. It’s one big roof, though, so it shouldn’t be hard to miss. Surviving is another story.

Kill 1 enemy within 60 seconds of landing in Classic mode

If you’re a strong, aggressive player, matching this mission with the choice one above is a good bet. Choose one of the higher tier loot locations to hotdrop into and you’ll have plenty of enemies to target for that 60 second kill.

For the less murderously inclined, dropping late and effectively stalking someone is a good option. Tail them into an uncommon location but land further back. Grab a gun, sneak back to their landing spot, and hope they haven’t heard you coming.

Kill 3 enemies with M24 in any mode

Though it doesn’t quite have the same classic appeal as the Kar98K, the M24 is still a bolt-action rifle, making it a sweet sounding, single chamber party of a pick off piece.

Unless your target is wearing a Lv. 3 helmet, a single blow to the head with this thing will net you a kill. Likewise, anything but top-tier armor will take a mere double tap — though that is a bit more difficult with its expectedly slow rate of fire.

A body shot is better than a miss. Maybe deal damage with a couple longe range AR shots and quickly switch to the M24 to secure the kill.

Pick up Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv. 3) in 10 matches in Classic mode

Speaking of Lv. 3 helmets, the iconic Spetsnaz topper returns to the season challenge list. Finding one of these typically means taking a risk and hitting up an air drop, but last long enough into a fight and you’ll up your chances of finding one of these on your target.

The Spetsnaz Helmet stands out visually, too, so look out for one when you’re scanning with a scope. That way you’re only rushing to a body when you really need to.

Deal a total of 500 damage with headshots in Classic mode

What is this? Headshot week? Another mission on the free royale pass side wants you to aim true, but whether it’s from a sniper or not is entirely up to you.

A sniper will absolutely get you a ton of damage toward this with each hit, but the higher rate of fire from ARs can get less experienced players there faster. Just whack a 4x scope on your favorite AR and find some high ground.

PUBG Mobile Season 13 Week 8 Elite Royale Pass Missions

Finish in the Top 3 in a Squad match 2 times in Classic mode

This doesn’t seem all too different from last week’s S-rank mission in the same slot. Here, you’re being forcing into a Squad match with a slightly harder task. You can’t just camp your way to a Top 3 squad mission, so you’ll have to actually work with your team.

Use something like Discord to find genuine players rather than being paired up with randoms with nothing to lose. Stick with them, share your loot, use some form of communication (voice or chat wheel) and don’t take potshots at a team over the horizon. That last one really is key. You’re not here to rack up kills, so don’t start fights you don’t need to.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 8 enemies in a single match in Classic mode
    • A true challenge for Elite Pass holders. Getting 8 kills typically means hot dropping to great success and getting into the Top 10. At least. Remember your first aid training.
  2. Kill more than 16 players in a single match in Arena
    • You can get this with a 1:1 KD/A, but the least deaths you give to the opposite team, the more chance you’ll have of pulling this off before the match ends. Don’t be overly aggressive. Let regen kick in. Guides here.

Pick up Flare Gun in 5 matches in Classic mode

Flare guns are incredibly rare on any map. You can bump up your chances of finding one by dropping into high-tier loot locations, but you’ll have to fight off many other players for the goods. And it’s probably your only option to get this done before the season ends. Searching around the map for more uncommon Flare Gun locations just isn’t efficient.

Kill 20 enemies with Vector in any mode

Present in last week’s mission list, the Vector returns for a second shot. Its unconventional shape and built-in stock makes it easier to handle than most other SMGs, so expect stellar recoil management during close range sprays. You can knock it into single or burst modes if you’re struggling to find other guns and need to make a distant shot, but close range is where this gun shines.
