With another major update comes another brand new Royale Pass, and pre-release leaks have it looking even brighter than the neon anniversary we’ve just escaped. PUBG Mobile Season 13 is right around the corner, and before the official release takes all the fun out of our sails, here’s what you can allegedly look forward to thanks to all the leaked information floating around out there.
PUBG Mobile Season 13 Release Date
We don’t need to rely on leaks and dubious information to confirm the Season 13 release date. It was made official a little while ago. Following past patterns, PUBG Mobile Season 13 is set to go live on May 13.
Once it does, you’ll be prompted to renew your Royale Pass when you log in, with that massive multimillion counter attempt to infect you with a big case of FOMO if you don’t.
PUBG Mobile Royale Pass 13 Theme
Another piece of recently confirmed information is the PUBG Mobile Season 13 Royale Pass theme: Toy Playground. It’s enough to lend credence to recent leaks purporting to the bright and colorful aesthetic of its rewards.
If you hoped for the game to dive back into the realm of realism, this season isn’t what you’re looking for. There’s going to be a lot of toy robot skins and a bit of Ultraman flare throughout, so if you dream of PUBG Mobile was the Operation Tomorrow set from Season 11, you might want to vote with your wallet this time around.
PUBG Mobile Season 13 Rewards
So what can fans of the Saturday morning cartoons look forward to aside from snacking on a big bowl of cereal during rounds? It’s all down to your personal preference. The names of the skins in question differ between in-game leaks and supplied information, so as ever, it’s best to take all this with a grain a salt.
For Season 13, you’ll have the opportunity to choose between two skins at milestone Royale Pass levels. There’s the Rock n’ Roll set at Level 30, but we’re not sure what that has to do with the toybox theme. After that, there’s the Ice or Fire Ranger skins at Level 50, and the Nebula Hero/Ultra Defender or Puppet Agent/Master skins at Level 100.
These last two appear to upgrade to Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced variants. There’s no enough information around right now to say how exactly that will work, but it looks to be a simple case of leveling up the pass to upgrade the basic versions you receive at lower levels.
Season 13 UC and RP Skins
But all is not lost for the military maniacs out there. As Riggs Gaming points out in his recent video, there’s one skin that’s bound to appeal to the Toy Story generation and the adults who brought them up — the Army Men set.
Stylized after the solid green troops that adorned many a kid’s bedroom floors in the late 20th century, it’s enough to make us want a version of 50/50 War against nothing but blue and green toy soldiers.
To get the skin for yourself, you’ll have to hop into what’ll be known as the Toy Core Exchange and do the usual dance of spending UC and any excess RP to build the full set.
In the other series of boxes, you’ll find the Deadly Agent set, instead, with the pleated skirt and low-cut top available within acting as perfect contrast against the other.
