Mmm...nondescipt meat...

With PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 7 missions now out in the open, we’re just a single week out from the end of the run. This week’s missions aren’t terribly complicated, but some choice options involve a mode EZ Mission License holders can’t even play yet. If you’re looking for something new and exciting, this week has it for you. Otherwise, it’s the usual choice between Arena and traditional Battle Royale.

Choice Mission

  1. Land on any rooftop in Hospital (Erangel) 3 times in Classic mode
    • You know what? Let’s leave the hospitals out of this. It’s an easy landing spot, but they have enough of their plates already.
  2. Land on any rooftop in El Pozo (Miramar) 3 times in Classic mode
    • Send Miramar 1.0 off in style. There are plenty of medium and large rooftops to choose from here, but they’re spread apart. Be careful.
  3. Eat Roast Meat a total of 6 times in Arctic Mode
    • This one won’t make much sense if you’re tackling these with the EZ Mission License. It’s part of the new Arctic mode coming on April 16. Enjoy your nondescript meat.

Kill 3 enemies within 200 seconds of landing in Classic mode

We have to cover this one a lot. It’s usually one or two enemies in a smaller time window, but the basics remain the same. If you’re a pro, nosedive into a popular location and gear up fast. Take down those you beat to the punch and go from there.

If you want a slightly more relaxed time, land in a quieter area ahead of a few other players. Watch overhead to make sure you have enough and repeat the same process. If you’re not so strong, land last and away from the main group. Gear up away from the fray and head in shortly after to pick these dueling players off when they’re already hurting.

Whichever way you tackle this, you’ll probably need to take some time to heal up during kills. You have just over three minutes to get the job done, so don’t rush too hard. Take a breather.

Kill 4 enemies with Frag Grenade in any mode

Frag grenades are best used when a target wants to stay still – like when they’re hiding in a sniper’s nest or behind a tree or rock when the circle closes in. Grenades can force them to move from these positions, or catch them so off-guard that they’re unable to adapt quick enough.

Toss these into windows or around stationary objects. You’ll either lure your target out or kill them with the pineapple.

Complete 8 matches in Arcade mode

Unless you’re itching for a harder fight in the new Hardcore Mode, Arcade game modes are typically faster than your average Battle Royale, making this mission a welcome break for many. Depending on the current rotation timer when you play, you’ll have a mix of Quick Match, Sniper Training, or War to choose from here.

Sniper Training is a 15-minute mini royale with snipers and pistols on Erangel, Miramar or Sanhok, Quick Match is an 8-minute mini royale with random weapon sets, and War is like a bigger, more chaotic Team Deathmatch. Whichever mode you choose, it shouldn’t take more than an hour or two to get this one cleared. Just focus on learning some crucial combat lessons in these tail

Kill 20 enemies with the PP-19 Bizon or the MP5K SMG in Classic mode

The PP-19 Bizon might not look like the MP5K, but it sure does act like one. Both are very fast SMGs that, like most SMGs, work exceptionally well at close range. Switch to either of these when skulking around a house or tight area like an alleyway, and you’ll have the upper hand against most other weapons.

This is all about knowing the SMGs strengths versus another gun’s weakness. You offset their accuracy by making your target larger. Play smart.

Kill 30 enemies with AKM in Arena

A variation of the classic AK-47, this assault rifle’s drastic recoil is the trade-off for its incredible stopping power, making it another solid close-quarters combat weapon of choice. Thankfully, Arena modes aren’t made for long-range weapons, making this mission relatively straight-forward.

You can grab a scope and fire potshots to keep this gun stable at medium/long-range, but keeping it close to your chest for those finger-flick moments will help it shine.

Pick up Backpack (Lv. 3) over 10 matches in Classic mode

Popular enough to become a physical item you can buy from Amazon, the Lv. 3 PUBG Mobile backpack is a camouflage icon, but its large size keeps it from being a staple pick-up in the middle of match. You don’t need to have the thing on your back when the match ends, though, so if you’re a part of Lv. 2 Club, just pulling the old switcharoo with a Lv. 3 Backpack will be more than okay. Don’t abandon your ideals just for some RP.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 8 enemies in a single match in Classic mode
    • Unless you’re regularly fighting your way to a Top 3 finish, this won’t be easy. Scared campers should stay away from this one.
  2. Kill more than 16 players in a single match in Arena
    • A solid result in any Arena match, but not impossible. This shouldn’t be too difficult if you’re a decent shot.
  3. Kill a total of 12 enemies in Arctic Mode
    • This won’t mean much until Thursday, April 16. If you’re after something new, this is where you’ll find it. Just make sure to find some heat and fuel up between kills. You won’t survive chasing 12 targets without chowing down first.

Kill 4 enemies with AWM in any mode

This one doesn’t say the four kills need to be in the same match, so don’t try too hard to get this one done. It’s powerful enough to secure four kills without too much trouble, but obtaining this supply drop weapon is a whole other story.

If you’re having trouble looting the thing, wait out the drop, and use cover like a vehicle or smoke grenade to loot it safely. Then get to some high ground to make the most of its powerful shots and exceptionally long range.

Earn S or above 4 times while in a team with friends in Classic mode

Our usual tips for these kinds of missions remain the same: Stay. With. Your. Group. You’re graded on a lot of things when you eventually kick the bucket, and you’re more likely to die before you hit your stride by running far from those who can protect and revive you.

Learn to communicate with your team. Share resources. Make good use of pings and don’t fire a shot at a distant target without knowing for sure the team wants to take on the challenge. Getting an S rank can be done with the bare minimum of kills, so don’t get jeopardizing a good run just to add another digit to your kill count.
