PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 6 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

A tough week to be a scrub

PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 6 missions have arrived. We’re getting close to the end of another batch, but Tencent isn’t going to let this anniversary event fizzle out just yet. The Week 6 challenge list isn’t terribly complicated, but if you’ve never managed to get your paws on a flare gun before, you’re probably not ready to see this one through to the end.

Choice Mission

  1. Occupy the base in Arena for 100 seconds
    • Assuming this doesn’t mean consecutively, you’re bound to hold points for 100 seconds or more unless you’re getting absolutely stomped. Look to our Domination guide for tips if that’s the case.
  2. Kill 3 enemies with Pan in Classic mode
    • Unless you really have to flaunt your skill on stream, don’t pick this over any of the other two. It’s just unnecessary.
  3. Complete 3 matches in Payload
    • If you like to make things to boom, Payload is still there to dish out 100 RP. “Complete” usually means see through to the end, so suicide isn’t going to cut it.

Kill 1 enemy within 60 seconds of landing in Classic mode

This might sound like a hyper-aggressive play, but it doesn’t need to be. Sure, you can dive straight down to a busy location and hope you grab a gun someone else is seconds away from swiping under your feet, but that’s not the only way to go about it.

If you’re not willing to play that big a risk so early into a match, one method is to land somewhere rural. Somewhere only 2-3 others are targeting. Go in last, on the outskirts. Grab a gun, wait for the others to fight amongst themselves, then sneak in for the kill.

Finish in the Top 3 in a Squad match 2 times in Classic mode

Top 3 isn’t an easy feat no matter who you are. Especially in a random squad. This isn’t something you’re likely to manage without some real comms and comradery going on, but it’s not impossible. Just remember to stick with the team and learn to coordinate your attacks. Don’t open fire on a distant enemy when there’s no need. You’ll only put your squad in more danger.

Stay close, know when to hang back to support fallen friends in battle, and don’t go thinking you can take on a whole team by yourself. Remember to drop some goods for your pals, too. Share the love, you know? If they need healing and you’re packing meds, toss them out. Be the team player.

Pick up a Spetsnaz Helmet (Lv. 3) over 10 matches in Classic mode

The Spetsnaz helmet isn’t a common sight in the field. There aren’t enough of these things to go around. If you’re not looting them from high-tier loot locations or airdrops, you’ll have to loot one from someone’s cold, dead corpse.

Use Painkiller 20 times in Classic mode

Painkillers are an interesting health item. Rather than patch you up good, ready to take on the day again, they grant health regen and a boost in movement speed. They’re probably not going to help you win a losing battle, but they might just get you the hell out of there and slowly bring you back to full capacity.

For both of those reasons, they’re worth carrying around. And you’ll find them everywhere. Pop some after a brief skirmish as a nice pick-me-up, or use them while you cower under a staircase awaiting death. By the time your assailant comes knocking, you might just have regenerated enough HP to put up a fight.

Deal a total of 500 damage with headshots in Classic mode

Headshots aren’t just for snipers and marksmen rifles. They can be had with just about anything. It’s possible to get one by spraying a machine gun in a closed space, but that’s not a reliable way to tick this mission off the list.

Snipers will absolutely be your best bet for this. You can take your time from a good distance. But ARs with a 4x scope can manage it, too. You’ll just need to land far more hits in the long run. Similarly, a desert eagle with a decent sight from mid-range can help. If it’s not happening through dumb luck, hang back somewhere safe. You can take your time setting up a shot when you know a miss won’t cost you your life.

PUBG Mobile flare gun location

PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 6 Elite Royale Pass Missions

Kill 20 enemies with Vector in any mode

This peculiar SMG is unlike most other guns in its category. It builds upon the SMGs most common use-case — as a close-range weapon — by reducing full-auto recoil at these short distances. Due to its design, it’s more important than ever to use this gun only in close-range combat.

It was actually tweaked to appear more often by reducing UMP-9 numbers a little while ago, so finding one of these shouldn’t be too difficult. Just keep it close at hand when you’re skulking through closed areas.

Choice Mission

  1. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in Sahmee (Sanhok) in Classic mode
    • Samee is a mixed bag. Some parts are good for ARs, and some scream SMG. You’ll need to be fast down the sights to pull this one off.
  2. Kill 20 enemies with Assault Rifles in Pochinki (Erangel) in Classic mode
    • With so much open space, ARs with a 4x scope can really bring the pain here. Just make sure to check your corners. You can be easily flanked.
  3. Kill 16 enemies with Assault Rifles in San Martin (Miramar) in Classic mode
    • Another fine choice for ARs — scoped or not. San Martin has a more manageable layout thanks to its major roads. Get yourself into a high window.

Kill 3 enemies with M24 in any mode

This mission works well with the headshot challenge. It’s an alternative to the Kar98k with its bolt action design. It’s not a great pick for the inaccurate player, but if you’re far enough away from your target, you won’t have to worry about counterfire either way.

Unless you’re firing from afar, pair it with an AR. Only snipe when you absolutely need to, and be ready to switch back to your AR and back onto the battlefield if you miss. It’s usually too risky to attempt another shot straight away.

Pick up a Flare Gun over 5 matches in Classic mode

The flare gun is a rare sight. Something not everyone will ever even come across. It’s a symbol of absolute power these days — one that’s used to summon a bunch of goodies that can carry an individual to victory. You can find them anywhere, but only a handful will spawn in a single match. For this, there’s no real tip to finding them. Good luck.
