PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 2 Challenges – Tips and Tricks

Week 2 is the new Week 1.

According to some guy on Reddit, the PUBG Mobile Season 12 Week 2 missions are easier than the Week 1 missions. Obviously that’s subjective, but there’s something to pull from that opinion — this week’s missions are pretty easy, and that’s not a bad thing. It helps with the double whammy EZ Mission License holders have been subjected to right out of the gate, so it’s a welcome reprieve. Whichever end of the spectrum you fall on, here’s your Season 12 week 2 mission guide.

Choice Mission

  1. Finish in the Top 20 in Sanhok 4 times in Classic mode
    • The same rules apply to Sanhok as any other map when it comes to finishing in the top 20. Novices can easily get there by just hiding behind a couch and hoping the circle doesn’t gobble them up. Whether you’re an active or passive player, remember that almost everyone will use the bridges to cross onto other islands. That’s a natural choke.
  2. Bring back 2 dead teammates in Payload
    • This isn’t the same as reviving a downed teammate. To revive in Payload, you need to collect their corpse and take it to a beacon before they time out. It can be a challenge.
  3. Play the SPACE WAR mini game 5 times in matches during the Anniversary Celebration
    • The arcade opens on March 12. You can read more about that here. Simply put, you’ll just need to collect some coins in the 2nd Anniversary area and play the crap out of the SPACE WAR arcade machine.

Land on any rooftop in Bootcamp (Sanhok) 3 times in Classic mode

There’s no shortage of rooftops over at Bootcamp over on the eastern edge of the river. From a distance, it looks like a cute little holiday resort. Aiming for the large rooftops can make things easier, but you’re likely to find a frenemy up there, too. Aim for a smaller nearby roof if you don’t want to land yourself in immediate danger.

Finish in the Top 10 in Sanhok 3 times in Classic mode

Here’s a case for landing on a smaller rooftop in Bootcamp — live to fight to the Top 10. Getting a top 10 finish means actually participating in the fight. At least in the later stages. Watch for targets coming along the bridges as the circle closes in, but opt to hole up in a settlement if possible. Sanhok has a lot of open space, so it’s easy to get picked off before you have a chance to react.

Kill 5 enemies with S1897 in any mode

You won’t be able to double this mission up with the Week 1 Erangel mission, but the same points still stand. The S1897 is a common pump-action shotgun. It’s designed for close-quarters encounters. Stick to short corridors and interiors to get the most out of this weapon. Due to its slow fire rate, you’ll generally want to sneak up on players to ensure a killing blow.

Pick up Desert Eagle over 8 matches in Classic mode

Despite its raw damage potential, the PUBG Mobile Desert Eagle isn’t a particularly rare pickup. At the end of the day, it’s still a handgun, so don’t expect to be picking off targets from 200m away. It spawns on all maps. Classed as “Uncommon”, it’s not something you can go and actively hunt down. You just need to keep an eye out for it at your usual loot locations.

Complete 15 matches with Friends in any mode

The easiest way to clear this is to add everyone you ever play with. There’s a recurring joke these days that nobody can fire up the game without being invited to a match before the main menu even loads up. People are very eager to play at all hours of the day, so just befriend ever random squad and agree to every invite.

Pick up 8x Scope over 3 matches in Classic mode

The 8x scope is a rare pickup that’s highly sought after. It’s a great all round attachment that should be grabbed whenever possible, but finding it can be difficult. If you’re not up for relying on high-tier loot locations for this one, you can scout it out in airdrops. In fact, an airdrops is the only way you can grab this piece of kit on Sanhok. It’s available virtually anywhere on the other maps.

Choice MIssion

  1. Kill 20 enemies with SMGs in Los Leones (Miramar) in Classic mode
    • Los Leones is one of the bigger cities in the game. Its buildings and alleyways point to a great SMG firefight location, but its long roads and cut-throughs can give ARs the upper hand.  Staying away from the main road can help, and you’ll come out with some good loot if you survive, but it’s a risk.
  2. Kill 20 enemies with SMGs in Sosnovka Military Base (Erangel) in Classic mode
    • Perhaps the quickest way to get this mission done, the Sosnovka Military Base is a very popular high-tier loot location. You’ll find plenty of SMGs here. That being said, it’s a wide open airfield, so ARs might just get the better of you.
  3. Kill 20 enemies with SMGs in Paradise Resort (Sanhok) in Classic mode
    • the concrete jungle of Paradise Resort is a great SMG location. Even its semi-open center is a symmetrical cover laden battleground. It’s the equivalent to your local paintball field.

Land within 200 meters of the airplane 3 times

This one has confused many a player in the past. From what we can all gather, this means landing within the plane’s overall path. You don’t need to land when the plane is 200m or less from you — you just need to not stray more than 200m from the path it has taken. Basically, just hold back on your parachute and circle wherever you jump from. That should do it.

Deal a total of 1000 damage in a single match in Classic mode

If this doesn’t count vehicle damage, good luck. 1000 points of actual player damage means five lengthy kills at the very least, or somewhere closer to 15 kills if you’re picking off bleeding targets.

Just play to your own strengths and don’t get overly enthusiastic. You don’t want to blow a match when you’re closing in on that high count just because of greed and nerves. The more I talk about this, the more I think vehicle damage will count. Let the bullet fly, I say.
