Outriders is the latest looter-shooter to release in this ever-growing genre. Developed by People Can Fly, this action RPG places you in the shoes of a cryogenically frozen soldier who has gained enhanced abilities thanks to a mysterious storm called the Anomaly. With four classes available upon release, players can bend time, ignite enemies on fire, summon powerful constructs, and shake the very planet. While many of your skills and gear will be potent by themselves, you can enhance these further by using the various mods you’ll obtain throughout your journey. You can slot mods on your weapons and armor, both of which boast three different tiers of rarity.m
There are dozens upon dozens of weapon mods, which can make deciding which ones to hunt for tricky. To help you craft your perfect build or provide inspiration for future ones, below is every weapon mod you can currently earn in Outriders. Keep in mind, damage for many of these mods scales with the weapon’s level. Because of this, I put “X” as the damage value since it will be different for you depending on where you’re at in Outriders.

How to Get Weapon Mods
To get weapon mods, you will need to disassemble a weapon with that current mod on it. Each rarity is tied to a specific weapon mod tier. Meaning, Tier 1 comes from Rare (Blue) weapons, Tier 2 is harvested from Epic (Purple), and Tier 3 is tied to Legendary (Orange). While what mod you get is random for Epic and Rare weapons, Legendary guns will always have the same roll. So if you want the Anomaly Mutation mod, you will need to grind for a Mindmugger sniper rifle. There are a few mods that are multiple Legendary guns, but these are the exception and it’s only for a couple of specific Tier 3 mods.
You will know if you already have a mod in your collection by the small black square to the right of the mod’s description on the gun. If you see this, that means the mod has already been acquired so you can sell that gun for Scrap if you don’t need the materials. I always recommend prioritizing Epic and Rare mods, as these will be the core for many builds as you make your way to Challenge Tier 15.
And that’s it! If you’re still trying to get a grasp on everything Outriders has to offer, look no further! We’ve got a bunch of guides already published for you. For those that haven’t even decided on a class yet, we’ve got a primer for each of them with some information on how different they are. We also have a guide on ranking up whichever class you choose with class points and how to earn them. One of the very good things we’ve discovered is how mods work compared to games like Destiny and other looter shooters. To wrap things up, here’s how to play with friends including how you can access Outriders‘ crossplay support. Finally, if you’re struggling with bugs including the pesky invisible HUD and invisible enemy bullets, we have a guide to help you troubleshoot all of that.
