Here’s how to complete Fortnite’s Season 7 Week 1 Challenges

The Fortnite Season 7 challenges are here! Epic Games is kicking off the new season with three freebies and four exclusive tasks only for Season 7 Battle Pass owners.

To complete these challenges, all you need to do is hop in the game and fulfill the objectives. That’s it. Some involve earning headshots, while others make you dance at specific locations or acquire certain items. If you want to earn all seven Week 1 challenges in Fortnite, here’s what you need to do.

Season 7 Week One Challenges

Free Challenges

Pick up an item of each rarity

This one is relatively simple. There are five different rarity varieties in Fortnite: Battle Royale — Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, and Common. Dropping at or near a point of interest should help you clear this challenge pretty easily.

Dance in different forbidden locations

There’s several different “forbidden” locations around the map that you need to go to for this challenge. To complete this one, just find a circular sign with a “no” symbol over a character dancing, and then dance right in front of it. Check out the map to find all seven.

Play matches with at least one elimination

This challenge is labeled “hard,” but it’s actually not so bad. Just earn at least one kill per round across five different games, and you should be able to score this challenge somewhat easily. For skilled players, dropping at popular points of interest like Tilted Towers or Pleasant Park should do the trick and save you time should you die before you land a kill.

Battle Pass Challenges

Stage 1: Dance on top of a crown of RV’s

This stage-based weekly challenge is pretty similar to the Free Challenges’ “Dance in different forbidden locations,” but instead, you’re dancing at a specific landmark to unlock another. There are three in total: dance on top of an RV crown, on top of a metal turtle, and finally on top of a submarine. Check out the map to find each one with its adjacent number.

Deal Headshot Damage to opponents

Like it says on the tin, simply use weapons to deal damage to opponents’ heads. Assault Rifles and Pistols are both great choices for this challenge, as they give you the flexibility and rapid fire you need to quickly land shots. If you’re working at close-range, a Shotgun will work too.

Stage 1: Search Ammo Boxes in a single match

This challenge is also considered a “hard” one, and like the crown dances, it’s also split into stages. First, you need to find and open five Ammo Boxes in a match. Then you need three Treasure Chests. And finally, you need just one Supply Drop — each completed on a different match. We recommend dropping at a Point of Interest for the first two and teaming up with a duo or squad for the Supply Drop.

Eliminate opponents in different Named Locations

Like the free users’ elimination challenge, this one appears difficult but isn’t all that bad. Choose five different Points of Interest, head on over, and kill an opponent. Keep in mind that you can’t just camp out at Tilted Towers or Dusty Divot and snipe away at five bad guys. You have to kill one enemy per location!
