Halo Infinite Tenrai Battle Pass Rewards Guide – Leaks May Reveal Updated Items

Fractured and reforged.

In response to both internal and external complaints, 343 Industries has overhauled the first Halo Infinite event battle pass. Fracture: Tenrai launched just a few weeks ago and didn’t exactly land well with the community. Between Fiesta Slayer being an event-only playlist (something that has already changed) and half of the rewards being XP Boosts and Challenge Skips, players were more than a little upset. The good news is the developers at 343 agree and are reworking the free Tenrai battle pass.

In a recent stream, it was announced that some gear would be pulled from the item shop and added as a free reward for everyone. We were also promised fewer swaps and XP tokens, as they will be replaced with shoulder pads, armor coatings, and other gear pieces. Now, thanks to leaks, we have an idea as to what has changed. In this guide, we’ll show you what the Tenrai battle pass originally offered and compare it with what’s been added.

Keep in mind that this information is based on leaks and has not been confirmed as 100 percent accurate. Things may change between now and when the event returns, assuming these rewards are correct, to begin with. The Heroes of Reach battle pass rewards changed drastically between the initial leaks and release, for example.

The Old Halo Infinite Tenrai Battle Pass

Under the old pass, there were essentially nine true rewards, which are listed below. The remaining 21 ranks were entirely filled with Challenge Swaps, XP Boosts, and one emblem split up four different times (one for vehicle, armor, etc). Since you could only earn a maximum of seven ranks per event week, it was going to take a very long time to unlock most of the meaningful content.

  • Rank 5 – Yoroi Armor Core
  • Rank 10 – Gatekeeper Left Shoulder Pad
  • Rank 15 – Gatekeeper Right Shoulder Pad
  • Rank 20 – Sol Devil Weapon Coating
  • Rank 24 – Whispered Sky Weapon Coating Sidekick Coating
  • Rank 25 – Yokai Helmet
  • Rank 28 – Whispered Sky Weapon Coating Battle Rifle Coating
  • Rank 29 – Spring Blossom Filter Helmet Attachment
  • Rank 30 – Swordsman’s Belt Hip Attachment

The New Halo Infinite Tenrai Battle Pass

While the new battle pass has been overhauled, it’s worth noting that the team didn’t retroactively change anything below Rank 10, likely because people could already be Rank 7 from the first week of the event. If you haven’t gotten there yet, there’s still going to be some pain. But from then on, things do look much better. Some items will require less time and are easier to get with the new battle pass. Anything in bold is new and was not previously available.
