MiHoYo has announced the next event coming to Genshin Impact: Invitation of Windblume. With Venti returning for the first time since he was made available, now we’ll have a whole event centered around things he does. Technically, Mondstadt always has this festival in the spring to celebrate freedom and romance, but the entire thing really is a Venti event. With music, flowers, and fun events, it’s Venti’s dream come true. In this guide we’ll take a look at everything in this event including rewards, minigames, and quest content!
You can earn a total of 1,000 Primogems and collect Peculiar Collab Coupons and Festive Tour Tickets. Rewards include the Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon which you can release and then shoot. That’s all it does. There’s also the Windsong Lyre which lets you freely play music as you wish.
The complete list of rewards are:
- Windblume Ode (4-Star Bow)
- Windsong Lyre (Musical Trinket)
- Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon (Trinket)
- The Visible Winds (Refinement Material for Windblume Ode)
- Crown of Insight (Legendary Talent Material)
- Dust of Azoth
- Weapon Ascension Materials
- Character EXP Material
- Talent Level-Up Materials
- Mystic Enhancement Ore
You earn Peculiar Collab Coupons from Peculiar Wonderland and Festive Tour Tickets from the Festive Challenges. You’ll need to do both if you want to earn the maximum rewards.
This is a domain challenge. Each time you enter you’ll need to complete three randomly generated challenges which unlock buffs in your fight with the final boss. Think minigames like climbing up a hill while avoiding incoming projectiles or staying on a floating platform and avoiding the tiles which collapse. The better you do during these three challenges, the better your buffs will be against the final boss.
These three challenges are separate from Peculiar Wonderland. They center around archery, descending rapidly, and playing music!
In this challenge, your archery skills will be put to the test. Hit a variety of balloons in the sky to earn points and rewards. Some balloons are worth more than others and there are a few which explode, hitting nearby balloons as well. Just keep an eye out for Heartbreak Balloons which deduct points if they’re destroyed!
Don’t worry about having an archer on you, it looks like one is given to your character automatically as the special program showed Tartaglia with a bow.
Rather than racing to the bottom, in Floral Freefall you’ll need to balance a fast completion with the number of points you gather by collecting Fluorescent Flowerballs, Honey-Petal Crowns, and Finish Line Garland as you make your way down.
Ballads of Breeze
Hope you like rhythm games! Music playing is coming to Genshin Impact in this event. Throughout the duration of the Windblume, you’ll gain access to new songs to play. Perform well to earn rewards!
Each song comes in three difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Pro, each with their separate rewards.
This might be one event you want to use a controller for instead of a keyboard.
During the 1.4 special program stream, this is perhaps what we learned the least about. All we know is it’s a four act series of quests with Primogems, EXP, and Mora as a reward. They become available one by one until they all expire on April 5.
- Act I: Ode to Flower and Cloud (Available starting March 19)
- Act II: Missive of Cloud and Fog (Available starting March 22)
- Act III: Realm of Fog and Wind (Available starting March 25)
- Act IV: Dream of Wind and Flowers (Available starting March 28)
We don’t know what these are for yet, but the stream also mentioned everyone will be picking their offerings for the event. The choices appear to be between the Dandelion, Windwheel Aster, Sweet Flower, Wolfhook, Cecilia, Small Lamp Grass. What we’re contributing these towards, we don’t know. We’ll be sure to update this and the rest of the guide once the event goes live!
