For those of you who don’t, it’s one of the many materials you need to collect in order to make your characters stronger and stronger. Where to Find Dendrobium

If you are looking to farm Dendrobium you’ll have to leave the shores of the mainland. As it stands, the only place to find these plants are on the islands of Inazuma. The largest cluster of them can be found on Nazuchi Beach. Gathering all of these alone will net you a large percentage of all the available nodes. The other most obvious place to farm them is just north of the Kujou Encampment.

There are 22 Dendrobium on the beach with an additional nine on the small island north of the encampment.  If you really stretch yourself and collect every single node on the islands, you can walk away with 36 blooms per refresh. How quickly you accrue the resource ultimately depends on how much time you’re willing to spend getting the harder to reach nodes.

As of right now, no shops sell Dendrobium. That’s particularly unusual considering just about every other local specialty has at least one person selling a bundle of five to help speed things up. Patch 2.1 hasn’t changed this situation so for now we’re left waiting.

Remember, the blooms will respawn around every two to three real-world days. Because of this, I recommend hitting both areas areas. This will maximize your farm, reducing the amount of time spent waiting for them to refresh.

Dendrobium Uses

At the time of writing this, Dendrobium is primarily used for character ascensions. Right now only the newly released Kujou Sara uses them. The only recipe that uses them is to create Redrot Bait for you fishing efforts.

Since it takes 168 of one of these materials to reach Ascension 6 for a single character, I recommend you start farming early. Even if you don’t have Kujou Sara right now, there’s always a chance you could pick her up in a future banner. It’s also a safe bet that miHoYo will release more characters that need this material so it doesn’t hurt to gather some now.
