Genshin Impact Dendrobium Guide – Dendrobium Locations & Uses

Blood blooms the blood blooms.

If you’re experienced with Genshin Impact, you’re usually going out of your way to gather materials around Teyvat and Inazuma. Dendrobium is not one of those at the moment, however. The region has just released and no currently released or announced upcoming characters use it. That said, Dendrobium is filed as a local material which means someone will use it as an ascension material eventually. In this guide we’ll highlight all of the locations for you to farm these blood blooms.

Where to Find Dendrobium

If you are looking to farm Dendrobium you’ll have to leave the shores of the mainland. As it stands, the only place to find these plants are on the islands of Inazuma. The largest cluster of them can be found on Nazuchi Beach. Gathering all of these alone will net you a large percentage of all the available nodes. The other most obvious place to farm them is just north of the Kujou Encampment.

There are 22 Dendrobium on the beach with an additional nine on the small island north of the encampment.  If you really stretch yourself and collect every single node on the islands, you can walk away with 36 blooms per refresh. How quickly you accrue the resource ultimately depends on how much time you’re willing to spend getting the harder to reach nodes.

There is likely somewhere you can purchase Dendrobium as well, but we’re still exploring the new Inazuma region and Genshin Impact 2.0. We’ll keep you updated should we find more sources of the material.

Remember, the crystals will respawn around every two to three real-world days. Because of this, I recommend hitting both areas areas. This will maximize your farm, reducing the amount of time spent waiting for them to refresh.

Dendrobium Uses

At the time of writing this, Dendrobium has no known uses as the community has not discovered any recipes that call for it as of yet. There are no active characters who require this material for ascension either.

That said, Dendrobium is listed as a local material which means it’ll eventually be used in character ascension. Since it takes 168 of one of these materials to reach Ascension 6 for a single character, I recommend you start farming early. Even if there are no uses available right now, it’s a safe bet that miHoYo will release characters that need this material so it doesn’t hurt to gather some now.
