Fortnite Sky Platforms Guide: All Sky Platform Locations Mapped

Hint: They ain't on the ground.

Week 1 of Fortnite Season 9’s Battle Pass has begun, true believers! Many new features adorn the Battle Royale island after this big 9.0 update, including Neo Tilted, Mega Mall, and the Pressure Plant. Meanwhile, Sky Platforms — a less conspicuous set of additions — float patiently above seven key locations, just waiting to be used for quick escapes and masterful snipes. Here are the Fortnite Sky Platforms locations.

Fortnite Sky Platform Locations

Remember when Kevin the Cube was making his rounds, ripping sections of the map from the very Earth and turning them into mini floating islands? This is basically like that, except way more Apex Legends-y, and also less destructive. Also, Kevin’s not involved, so it’s really only similar in that there are giant floating things, but hey! At least the Sky Platforms all float where Kevin’s seven runes used to be. You’ll find these brand-new Sky Platforms at the locations marked below.

It’s up to you whether you want to drop directly onto one, or access it from the bottom, as all Sky Platforms have player-lifting air jets beneath them. It’s also worth noting that you don’t have to visit all seven in a single match — I like to scribble a little note somewhere each time I get credit towards a challenge like this, that way I can be sure to avoid locations I’ve already been to. It’s easier to forget than one might think!

The reward for completing this challenge is five Battle Stars, or if you’re somehow finishing this Week 1 challenge after your Season 9 Battle Pass has reached level 100, an equivalent amount of account XP.
