If you’re reading this, it means you’ve only got one thing on your mind right now:
Tacos. Hidden Tiers. Well, and Hidden Banners probably. So, two things. You’ve only got two things on your mind. And probably where to find said Hidden Tiers and Banners, so, three things. Lemme start over.
If you’re reading this, it means that you’ve only got three things on your mind right now: Hidden Tiers, Hidden Banners, and where to find them — and what you need to do to make them appear. Dang it! Okay. Amongst what things you may have on your mind are such diverse elements as: Hidden Tiers, Hidden Banners, and what you need to do to unlock either of the above, and where to find said Tiers/Banners once you’ve unlocked them.
In this guide — which will be updated weekly as Fortnite Season 9 progresses — we’ll show you exactly where each Hidden Tier and Hidden Banner can be found. Read on to uncover the forbidden truth!

Fortnite Season 9 Week 1 Hidden Tier Location
Every odd-numbered week introduces a secret Hidden Tier, which appears on the map once all seven of that week’s Battle Pass challenges have been completed. Collecting this Hidden Tier advances your Battle Pass by one level, or the equivalent of 10 Battle Stars. As Season 9 progresses, more Hidden Tiers will be added to the island every other week, which will unlock as you complete the associated weekly challenges. If a weekly challenge is left uncompleted — even on a previous week — this will prevent the Hidden Tier from appearing on the map. But! Since this is the first week of Season 9, you don’t have to worry about that.
The Hidden Tier will appear on the map as a spinning emblem at the location shown below:
Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Hidden Tier Location
This week’s Hidden Tier is located on the road just south of Junk Junction, on top of the pile of cars in the back of the dump truck:
Remember that the Hidden Tier/Banner won’t spring into view until you’re within a few tiles, so don’t panic if you can’t see it as you land! And as always, be kind to your neighbors who are also trying to get the emblem. You can kill each other just as dead after everyone gets what they’re after.
If the Hidden Tier/Banner fails to show up at all, that means there’s a challenge somewhere in a previous week that still needs to be completed. Acquiring a Hidden Tier adds a full tier added to your battle pass, or an equivalent amount of account XP if you’ve already hit level 100. Meanwhile, finding a Hidden Banner will add it to your pool of available banners in the locker.
