Fortnite Ripsaw Locations – Where to Find Ripsaws inside Chop Shops
Added back into the game on June 28, the Ripsaw is a weapon that can be found inside Chop Shops, which are specific landmarks scattered around the battle royale map. There is currently just one available, but on the upside, you can now find the Ripsaw as ground loot and inside chests and supply drops.
If you’re looking for the Chop Shop location in Fortnite to get the Ripsaw, the spot is found northeast of Logjam Lotus, represented as a red barn on both the minimap and the location itself. It’s fairly close to the water, overlooking the bay with the crane to its side. Once you enter, the Logjam logo will greet you, as well as The Chop Shop as the discovered landmark.
That’s the gist of it! Thankfully, the spot is fairly easy to recognize, and it’s also quite secluded. Depending on where the circle is set during the match, this may be beneficial or not, so I recommend having an escape plan at hand just in case you need to run all the way to The Joneses.
As mentioned, you can also find the Ripsaw as ground loot or inside chests or supply drops. But if you’re close to the landmark or would rather get in there early by dropping from the battle bus directly, that’s also an option. If you do, you’ll find the weapon hanging on the inner walls.
Bear in mind that picking up the weapon from the walls takes a couple more seconds than what you would usually expect, in case you’re trying to get in and out as fast as possible while somebody is chasing you. As for the Ripsaw itself, there are different ways to use it, but it can hurt multiple enemies if they’re lined up correctly. Also, it’s perfect to destroy structures and objects, but you can also use it in close quarters by holding the aim button.
That’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Ripsaw locations. In case you didn’t get the chance to try the weapon before, hope you have fun with it. Just keep an eye out for any flying saws.
