Fortbytes are the Fortnite Season 9 Battle Pass’ brand-new daily challenge system, and no, they have nothing to do with Fanbyte. We sadly did not think to call our Fortnite coverage “Fortbytes” from the beginning. If we had, we might have been able to settle out of court for enough money to open a Fanbyte satellite office on an actual satellite, but alas. As things are in this reality, 100 Fortbyte challenges slowly unlock over the course of Season 9. The tasks vary from simple XP gain, to locating hidden items on the map, to solving group puzzles with other players. Completing all 100 Fortbytes will complete the image seen above, and unlock this season’s mystery skin.

It’s a long list, but we’ve done our best to make it as easy to navigate as possible. Any entries listed in bold were added since the last time the list was updated.
