Fortnite Find the Coolest Player on the Island Location Guide

Where to find the coolest player on the island in Fortnite.

Fortnite Find the Coolest Player on the Island is one of the quests introduced in Chapter 3 Season 3. Taking advantage of the new biomes across the battle royale map, you’re tasked to tackle quite a particular task at hand without any indication of where to start. The new season presents massive changes on the battle royale map, returning mechanics, and some interesting additions, from weapons to quests to follow on a weekly basis. This guide explains where to find the coolest player on the island and how the quest works.

If you’re looking for more help, we have a dedicated hub that includes coverage around Indiana Jones quests, how to plant Reality Saplingsweekly quests, character locations, all current bugs and known issues, how to cure Storm Sickness, all Tover Tokens to complete Snap Quests, and the best weapons ranked in a tier list.

Fortnite Find the Coolest Player on the Island Location

As part of the new week of weekly quests, you’re tasked to find the coolest player on the island across the battle royale map. This sounds straightforward enough, but there is no indication about who exactly this player may be. As a spoiler, no, it’s not an NPC from the character collection.

The objective takes place in front of a mirror, cause the coolest player is… you. There are plenty of places to go to, especially in towns and other points of interest, where there is a myriad of mirrors to choose from. I recommend heading over to the northeastern corner of the map, close to one of the temples that you visited during the Indiana Jones quest. This house has plenty of bathrooms inside, and it’s also fairly far away from, well, everything else, so you shouldn’t have any trouble completing the quest fast.

As per usual, I recommend landing here directly from the battle bus and just rushing to the bathroom. Once in there, stand in front of one of the mirrors for a few seconds, and the quest will be ready. You’ll get your 15,000 XP as well as a sense of pride and fulfillment. Maybe.

That is all for this particular quest. We’re halfway through Chapter 3 Season 3 and the objectives are starting to get simpler than how they were a few weeks ago. This week in particular, for example, is mostly focused on dealing damage to opponents after completing certain tasks, and it also involves fishing, which is a rare occurrence in Fortnite these days. I don’t remember the last time I stopped to fish something while playing Zero Build mode, as its fast-paced nature often has me running around mantling and looking for weapons. That being said, it’s not exactly a bad thing if you’re trying to get to level 100 of the battle pass, as 15,000 XP for objectives such as the one above is a fairly good deal.
