Fortnite Eliminate IO Forces to Steal IO Credentials Location
As part of the Fortnite Resistance quests, you’re tasked with eliminating IO forces to steal IO credentials. This quest is unlocked automatically after you’ve completed the set up recon cameras to get more info about the IO Doomsday device quest.
Let’s get into the steps. First, you need to establish a Device Uplink near Synapse Station. There are several spots to choose from, but I went for the one located northeast of the station itself, overlooking the nearby buildings and right next to a couple cacti.
From here, you have to eliminate IO forces to steal IO credentials. This sounds harder than it truly is, since there is a perfect spot nearby that can be of help. From where you are, feel free to hop into the Battle Bus or just make a run for Rocky Reels up north.
Rocky Reels is bound to have IO patrol enemies around. If you can’t find them right away, it’s likely that they’re inside the tank roaming the area, so make sure to look for shield bottles as well as a few weapons beforehand. Just look for the “!” red icons and attack on sight until they’re down. If they happen to be inside the tank, damaging it for long enough will make them exit the vehicle.
I only got to kill two IO patrol enemies, but each dropped an IO credential. You only need one, but at the least it seems like it’s a guaranteed drop.
Curiously, the quest isn’t over. You’re then tasked to deliver the IO credentials to the Imagined near the Joneses in Fortnite. You can either do this on the same match or just jump to a different one and complete it there, which is what I did.
Once around the Joneses, head over to the southeastern corner of the area, where you can find a spot right next to a fence. There is another one located northeast, so depending on how many enemies you encounter upon landing, you have to options to consider.
That is all for the Fortnite eliminate IO forces to steal IO credentials objective! The task is a bit longer than usual as it involves multiple steps, but aside from the back and forth, it shouldn’t prove too troublesome for the most part.

Remember that if you don’t see this quest yet, you still need to tackle the objectives from last week, which includes quests such as plant wiretaps to monitor IO communications and set up a direct relay with the paradigm near Sanctuary.
