Far Cry 6 is the latest installment in this long-running FPS franchise and it has you assuming the role of a guerrilla fighter in the totally fictional country of
Cuba Yara. Ruled by the vicious dictator Anton Castillo, players will burn, blast, and blow up the militaristic forces occupying this island. Just like previous games in this series, players will venture to various regions in Yara, taking down specific villains, acquiring new weapons, and fighting alongside the locals in typically zany quests.
Throughout Yara, there are also special chests that require players to hunt down two unique Criptograma Charts. These chests are marked as a key on your map and contain powerful gear you’ll want for your fight against Castillo. One of the trickiest key chests is located in the town of Concepcion in the Conuco region.
How to Unlock the Concepcion Key Chest
Before we begin, it should be noted that the town of Concepcion has a mandatory curfew once the sun goes down. Because of this, the entire village will become a restricted area at night that’s patrolled by some guards and a helicopter. To make things easier, I strongly recommend you hunt for the key chest and Criptograma Charts during the day. Not only is there a reduced military presence, but you won’t be trespassing! If you do insist on hunting at night, try to keep away from the helicopter because it can easily spot you when you’re running on the rooftops.
So make sure to do this during the day, or don’t, I’m not your boss.
You can find the key chest in the northern part of town on top of a building across from the Dockside Pickup location. We will be using this chest to orientate ourselves when we go out and acquire the two Criptograma Charts. From the chest, face north and head towards the courtyard shown above. You should see a bunch of market stalls and a large tree in the center. Near the cyan-colored wall with the painted squids, there will be a small room with a large window open. Climb through this window and you’ll find the first Criptograma Chart inside.
Now head back to where the chest was and face northeast. To your left, you should see a zipline on a rooftop that goes across the street. Take this zipline and then head for the building with the railing along the roof and the large covered portion (shown above). Along the stonewall near the door, you will find the second Criptograma Chart stabbed into the wall. Once you have this chart, you can return to the key chest and unlock it. Inside is the Hazmat Shoes MKII which greatly reduces poison damage taken. While these are exceptionally strong, I recommend only swapping to them when facing down a lot of poison-based enemies. Otherwise, they are kind of useless in most scenarios regardless of your playstyle.
