The Division 2 Perks Guide: All Perks List and Tips

During your time in The Division 2, you’ll gather SHD tech to help you unlock perks. These abilities improve a variety of areas across the game, making it easier for you to stay alive, kill enemies, and even unlock more things to do. Our full Division 2 perks guide will run down all of the available perks, each of their upgrades, and offer some tips!

The Division 2 Perk Tips

  • Some perks can’t be unlocked until level 30! Don’t accidentally spend points trying to get there only to realize you have to wait a while to finish the perk tree.
  • You can get SHD tech from SHD Tech Caches on your map. Just unlock the zone’s Safe House and it’ll mark every cache in the area on your map. After that, you can set a waypoint and follow your GPS to the spot.
  • Get the XP perks early on! This will get you the most overall bonus XP and unlock the rest of your skill tree faster.
  • Get perks like Restock and Armor Kit to improve your survivability — especially if you’re playing solo! The Division 2 can be surprisingly difficult in the early hours for lone players.
  • If you don’t like going back to base often, just go ahead and unlock the inventory slots right away. You get plenty of SHD tech and can always unlock the much flashier abilities later on.
  • Keep in mind that weapon mods are unlimited use. The perks that unlock weapon mods can be used on all of your weapons of that type.
